Because of the indication to play them together. Furthermore, it would be awkward to post just K.347 without a proper final chord

Yes, Scarlatti arranged his sonatas in pairs or triptychs, in the same key but contrasting moods and tempi. I think he wanted them to be performed that way. They often shed light on each other.
