      this isn't a warehouse, it's more than likely a large bulk outlet, you can see loose bottles for sale with price tags below, there isn't supposed to be water there, it was probably an accident

      @@OGTennyson There's basically contact and non-contact forces (plus a few other things like centripedal force). Non-contact forces are generally fundamental forces, like magnetic or gravitational force. Contact forces include something called normal force, as well as frictional force, drag force, spring force, and what you are seeing here is applied force. Centrifugal force isn't real. It's actually just applied force when applied from a harmonically changing direction. The reason the water moves outward is due to the inertia from the application of the applied force.

      @@aadisankararun8633no that force doesn’t exist. When an object is moving in a circular motion there exists a force pushing it inwards as well as tangentially. When the force pushing inwards disappears the object will tend to move in the direction of the tangent of the circle it was originally moving in instead of outwards. Simple physics

      No. You don't need education for this. You may not know about centrifugal force and simply move in a straight line to spread this puddle over a larger area, the effect is the same. It will even require less effort than dancing with a mop and dustpan.

      My school's never taught anything half this useful. Even learning English was mostly my own. The education system is necessary but it really teaches you very little useful life skills.
      Oh boy I know how to do advanced math. But they never taught me a single way to clean, cook, do taxes, how to do jobs or even how to apply for jobs.

      @@banditbuddies728 oh so close buddy! Centripetal force pulls objects TOWARDS THE CENTER! Centrifugal force isn't "real" because it's just a property of inertia not a new force. (Inertia being that objects moving in a direction want to keep moving in that direction). So the squeegee/mop thing is experiencing centripetal force but he's using inertia (simplified to centrifugal force) to move water into the container.

      It's everywhere around u. U gotta picture the equations as they r happening around u. U see a car moving u can just estimate the cars mass (kg) and multiply by the cars acceleration(m/s²) and that gives u force(N) . That's how it a cliqued for me n I was a horrible student in college.

    It more like an example of tangential acc when there is no centripetal force. So the water goes outwards hence this phenomenon can be seen . BTW centrifugal is not a real force but a pseudo force only to explain for non inertial frames .

    Centrifugal force does exist that is Newton’s first law otherwise known as inertia. There is a tangential velocity with an CENTRIPETAL acceleration pointing towards the center. The water continues to move tangentially because there is nothing to obstruct its uniform motion.

      yes yes and then u know the net torque acting upon the mass is 0 because energy is not conserved in a perfectly inelastic collsion. with this information, you can solve for the spring constant while the mass oscillates in simple harmonic motion and then use that to calculate the period of a pendulum.

    Actually it is not Centrifugal Force, Centrifugal force only acts when there is an absence of Centripetal Force.
    This phenomena occurs due to the inertia of direction and motion.

      It actually is centrifugal force...given the mopper is actually in the same circular force which makes the frame of reference in motion too and which is when centrifugal force acts as the net force has to be zero

      @@adityaminaravi9898 Centrifugal force is a PSEUDO FORCE, which exists on PAPER only to balance Newton's 2nd law in non inertial frame
      Example of pseudo force. So if the frame of reference is an accelerating object (say a car) wrt to the object observed (say a person ), a pseudo force on the person will be required to balance the equation of Newton's 2nd law in the car's frame of reference. There is no force ( horizontal) exerted on this person.
      This pseudo force exists (on paper) because the acceleration depends on the frame of reference while the force does not.
      Force is a real physical quantity. It can be FELT.
      The reason water is flowing outwards (and into the mop) is due to the velocity of the water.

The object or water in this case wants to move outwards due to its tangential velocity and direction of motion but since the centripetal force is directed towards the center of its rotation, the object moves about rotationally. It’s like a car, your body wants to move outwards it is in motion towards a direction but the car is moving rotationally and so you feel like you’re moving outwards but actually moving with the car.

    Actually centripetal force describe the force the cause an object to maintain a orbital motion, so the arrow should be pointing inward, what u see is the force of the broom changes the velocity of water and since there is no centripetal force to maintain the orbital motion, the water move outward

      @@deemo1775you are wrong. centripetal force does indeed act to pull the object into the origin of the circle but there is barely any centripetal force-- only friction. no centripetal force equals no centrifugal force because the water keeps expanding outwards until no more inertial force is being applied.

      Centripetal force's vector is directed to the axis of rotation, the water moves away from the axis of rotation, therefore this is not an example of a centripetal force

    Centrifugal force comes under the category of pseudoforce ie it's not actually present.
    The correct concept should be centripetal force that keeps the object in a circular oath even if it tends to leave it tangentially 👍🏻
