Although Mike is getting down on himself, he shouldn't. With the Sprint Feature running before the Modifieds, the track was totally burned up. Very little on the bottom filled with traffic, and no cushion or bite left on the top. Not his fault, not really much he could do or anywhere left to race. The majority of cars finished about the same position as they started. It happens. The track was a skating rink with nothing left to race on. I could see that during the Sprint Feature, and pretty much knew what the Mod Feature would be. Heads up...the car was loaded up in one piece, that's always a good night.

Congrats to Sr. and Jr., great night. Mike...nice gloves, chin up, you'll have bad nights now and again. Just gotta try and learn from them. Brite side, cars in one piece, running well and above all else, your girl is still by your side. That's the important thing the rest will come around bud.

Missed something that's for sure Mike. Stu and his wife had it figured out. She went from p22 to p7. We have been on a high this season though. A lot of great redraw picks and finishes, a lot of top 3 finishes, some great driving through the fields, and we have won a few. only a couple of off nights. Over all we doing good. See you soon.

That's awesome for your dad, I gave up late model racing when I was 50, my body couldn't handle it anymore. Plus the younger guys started calling me pops and I was to old to catch them on foot.

They fixed turn 3 at LOL so it won’t be as bumpy as last year. Paul had the track crew quit on him last week. So it will be a new crew. But he seems to have it worked out. It’s definitely going to be low and slow for the feature. Good luck mike and happy birthday!

I thought the HP said BP Sr. couldn’t race in NJ for two weeks? Glad he found a way around it! At most of the tracks y’all race at, are the modifieds the “Feature” division? You mentioned sprint cars tonight, and on other videos late models, and I was just curious. Thanks and congrats BP Sr. and BP2!
Looked really good on entry through the middle, but lacked forward bite. Otherwise, you were very good. Slick, slick tracks are difficult to find the perfect combo. You may want to look at planning to run up higher since everyone else is on the bottom. Make whatever adjustments are needed to run there. Fewer cars in the way. Good run anyway as everyday is a school day.

I just watched the Firecracker 50 at Fonda on Flo. Damn, you are snake bit there. That was painful to watch, so Mike must be feeling pretty low. Head up driver, days will get better. They kinda only have one direction to go. ☝

The car looked good in the heat but held up bad by third place it's hard to work the top when it's slick as a gut the only thing you can do is tighten it up and and run the middle but the car has to roll over on the RR and keep the LR up on the bars getting in because if you unload the LR too much getting in you get loose then you are all out of shape pushing when you throttle it back up it's a balancing act and Mike already knows that when you have a train on the bottom there is only one way around them to the outside and when what little grip there is on a race track is on the bottom you may have tighten the hell out of the car and get through the corner with more stagger than usual I enjoy seeing mike do well and never want to see you go backwards but it happens
