    • @BethRamsden
      @BethRamsden  Год назад +1

      The materials used on this face are shown in the video, but typically it’s brushed on pastel, acrylic or gouache paint, and watercolour pencils. Each is used in small amounts, and will not fade if treated well. You can use mr super clear UV cut for added protection against UV light, but you shouldn’t keep any dolls in prolonged direct sunlight/on windowsills anyway, as this is the biggest cause of fading ☺️

    What paint would you recommend for first time Blythe painting?

    • @BethRamsden
      @BethRamsden  3 года назад +2

      I think Gouache would be the most forgiving, since it can be wiped/dabbed away with clean water if you're not loving the results. When you're happy with a layer it can be 'saved' by sealing it with your varnish. Acrylic is nice too, but once it dries, even if you haven't varnished over the top yet, it won't easily come off again. Hope that helps! Thank you for watching! ^_^

      Hi there! If you watch my customising videos like this one (there aren’t too many) I do say what I’m using each time. You generally want to use a rotary tool or hand carving tools for sculpting, pastels and watercolour pencils for shading and detail, gouache or acrylic paint is optional for detail, and some sort of clear top coat or varnish to use between layers and to seal it all in. Hope that helps! 😊

      ¡Hola! ¡Hmm, eso es complicado! Si no hay un cuerpo que combine mejor con la cara, entonces sí, intentaría colorear el cuerpo. Lo quitaría de la cabeza y rociaría con Mr Super Clear flat, luego usaría un pincel suave y pasteles de tiza para colorear ligeramente el cuerpo. No necesariamente lo colorearía todo, pero trataría de mantenerlo natural con variaciones. Rocíe el cuerpo nuevamente con el MSC para sellar el color, unas pocas capas ligeras. ¡Entonces ponte la cabeza de nuevo!
      ¡Espero que eso ayude! Mostré un poco de rubor en mi cuerpo en mi video Obitsu de 50 cm si quieres ver cómo lo hice ^_^
