I was a lead singer, bass player, songwriter for 25 years in Dallas Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. I'm 61 now retired but my passion will never die. Shorten the lyrics in the verses of Born to fight the music is great and the chorus but verses need to be short and sweet. And remember not every verse has to rhyme with the last word with the last word from the phrase before. Remember sometimes more is less. Love what you're doing.
