  • Jon Auer's beautiful custom painted Old School 1975 KW W900 gets a good goin over at the 2021 "Class 8 on the Lake" Truck Show today.
A very cool survivor from the Golden age of Trucking when you had to "Fly By Night" to miss the "Chicken Coupes"

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Checking this out again. I loved this truck when I saw it at your show! This was one of my faves!! A glider kit! WOW! He sounded like my brother…Gotta turn it up to get more power so I can outrun those other guys who think they’re truck is hotter than mine! He did that! Fantastic! Had to watch it before going to bed tonight. Now I shall have dreams of trucks probably! Blessings my friend! Our vids will be coming out soon! 🥰🥰✌️

Porter greetings! 🇺🇸 Now that is one sweet KWs…and a 75 model! 🥰 I love those old rigs! Most of the old truckers will say that they had some good times back in the day! He hauled steel?! Now that was some heavy hauling! If anyone needed the power, they sure did! There was some good money in trucking in those days…60s - 80s. My dad and brother made some good money back then. I remember hearing about the strikes back in the 70s I believe! My brother would turn off his marker lights when running on the highway so they wouldn’t attack his truck. Rough but still good times! 😳 I really liked his truck! 🥰😎✌️

Turning off the markers....never heard that but it makes total sense!

@@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE 🇺🇸Here’s the story: There was a major strike going on at the time. We were dropping off in GA and it was almost midnight. Got pulled over by a cop on the interstate and he suggested that we turn off the marker lights so that people couldn’t tell the we were a semi. People were on the overpasses throwing rocks and stuff at the trucks. We saw groups of people at times but they never made us out until we were right on them. Made it with NO problems until we got to the plant. Found strikers at the gate, but police kept them back. I have heard of this tactic being used several other times. So that’s one of my personal stories.🥰🇺🇸✌️

All I'm doing is showing you our paperwork and the check-in/out process for 3 railheads, and 5 depot's. Sadly my success rate is about 50%.
