If you can pinpoint the date then you could pretty much figure out where the card was distributed and by whom. If it was pre-1902 then it was distributed outside the US ( i.e. Canada) by American Tobacco. If the date was 1902 or later then it was distributed by British American Tobacco ( even though the card states American Tobacco of the US) in New Zealand and Australia. In 1902, BAT was formed by American Tobacco and Imperial Tobacco(UK) to sell tobacco products worldwide ( except in the US & Cuba which was under the domain of American Tobacco and the UK which was the domain of Imperial Tobacco). Likewise, any Imperial Tobacco branded cards sold in North America in 1902 and after was produced and distributed by British American Tobacco.

My favourite is the Houdini card, any Houdini card is super rare and Collectable, you’re very lucky to have that Houdini card, I have yet to own a Houdini card hopefully one day I can find one.🔥
