Michael Anthony is great at producing some of the best harmonies along with Edward and if you listen to certain tracks it’s the baritone of David along with Michael that creates a full balance sound. That contrast between the two different voices is an important element in providing balance and more colors to the palette that you hear.That being said, it’s his unique voice that is just as important as Edward’s guitar that makes the music interesting and gives it that original quality. When you listen to the mix you’re listening to a blend of voices, Edward and Michael, however, a lead singer in the world of rock is identified as a stronger sounding personality that’s responsible for carrying the lead melody and Michael’s voice is rather thin and lacks character or swagger in his delivery, especially in this type of song. What a different audience from the videos showing the old shows in the 70's, 80's, and 90,s even the 00's! This is so docile and maybe it because they like to listen more or because it's not the craziness of the actual Van Halen but everyone is just standing there and holding phones. No dancing no partying no shouting and arm waving. Just...Standing there. I don't get it. Are they having any FUN??!! Mike is kicking the crap put of the vocals on this song no doubt. But he was always an incredible vocalist! Van Halen's vocals were a huge part of why they were so much more than many other bands. But yea the people just stand there. Weird to me.

Sammy put V.H back on top at a time when that band could have just totally faded away into obscurity . No one has earned the right to keep rocking out V.H songs any more than Hagar and Anthony. Who else is going to carry on their legacy?...it certainly isn't going to be that entitled rockstar wannabe' son of Eddies who has done nothing but use his last name to get to where he is today
