Loved the swatches and thank you for the comparison. KBS does not have a red reflective polish as far as I know. You were probably thinking of Deck The Claws which is a red jelly packed with silver holographic microglitters
Thank you! I actually was thinking of a red reflective from Colores de Carol. The bottles are the same shape lol
So I was wondering if you've found KB Shimmer to be really thick when it is the reflective glitter polishes? Also, do you get good wearability from KB Shimmer? I bought a large collection of theirs and was so disappointed with the chipping and how thick and hard to work with the polish was. I am trying to determine if I got a bad batch, maybe.
I haven’t found them to be overly thick when brand new. Reflective glitter can definitely run thicker as there is so much glitter in the polish, it can also thicken quickly with use from air exposure so I tend to have to thin my glitter polishes more than other finishes. Glitter polish in general is prone to thickening or drying out from the glitter pieces getting stuck to the threads of the bottle and letting air in when the polish is stored, so it’s important to keep the bottle clean between uses.
Wear time is hard to comment on because it’s SO individualized and is dependent on so many factors. Base coat, top coat, thickness of coats, thickness/thinness/flexibility of the nail, frequency and duration of the nails exposure to water, what kind of work is being done with the hands, etc.
