I prefer your version to the original.... and that's even though I like the original very, very much. My 8 year old daughter is also trying her hardest to practice your cover on her violin instead of practicing the stuff she's supposed to practice, lol xD lots of squeaking noises at home, but by now she got her artificial flageolets down clean. so thanks for teaching her that xD

I've listened to a far amount of various G.O.A.T. covers and I can say that this one is a marvelous display of creativity, virtuosity in the instrument and creativity in arrangment. Truly one of the best covers of this piece.

I did get a laugh out of a comment suggesting it was gutsy to play this without effects. I think that's a bit of a misunderstanding of what it typically means to be a violin player.
This is truly an over the top virtuosic performance...exceeding the technical wow factor of the original by several orders of magnitude while being extremely artful. Your left hand technique is picture perfect drool worthy. THIS deserves a bazillion views. Do you have a notated version of this transcription? I'd gladly pay you handsomely for it. :-)))) Just your takedown and arrangement skills alone are mind-blowing.

The lighting, cuts, close-ups and different angles, all the artistic details that add even more visual richness to your music. All the things that can get better, ARE getting better! I'd be absolutely shocked if your channel doesn't blow up in due time after you consistently put out even more content like this.

Im trying to play this and your playing is amazing, those harmonics are no joke to hit accuately, the runs and everything else are impressive as well but being that consistent on the harmonics is wild, amazing!
This surpassed my expectations astronomically across all the interpretation. The harmonics, the dynamics the tasteful choices of respecting the original phrasing when necessary (even when a significant ammount the original phrasing is artificially added through the mixing process, but here it is executed live and organically) and adding your own phrasing choices like the pizzicati in 1:19 and 1:34 the second one being two notes before than the previous one, etc. It truly sounds like a Paganini's version of G.O.A.T, and even the details like alternating the illuminations from white to red according to the verses like in the original MV, (yes, I noticed the chair being light grey at the start and being red at the end).
I don't care if this video was sped up a little, because the arrangement is what's important. Incredible arrangement. Can't blame her if it's hard to translate a 6-string solo into a 4-string instrument.

I watched this in disbelief. This is like the extracted essential oil of G.O.A.T. The pizzicato section gave me goosebumps.
What a shame it took me 2 years to find this. I've seen 4 or 5 really good violin covers of this but you're arrangement is my favorite.

Absolutely love the nuances, there are moments of true brilliance in the arrangement and playing. Also: OMG the video editing.
I love the ending in particular, so haunting (I realize it's similar to the opening but feels different since it's ending).
