The Shimano BOOSTCONCEPT rocks! | BT WORLD POP FLASH BOOST

Many of the new Shimano JDM Lures come up with new technologies that make the lures cast further, more accurately, or attract more attention from predators. These technologies are:
- FLASHBOOST: FLASH BOOST technology suspends a foil mirror, on small sensitive springs, inside of the lures body. This area of the body is translucent, enabling flashes to be seen when the lure wobbles.
- SCALEBOOST: is a three dimensional holographic film that offers remarkable life-like reality.
- JETBOOST: The system uses an internal moving weight, controlled by a spring-type centre of gravity control (Pat.P) system. During the cast, the weight is forced towards the back of the lure, which creates a ‘weight-forward’ balance, improving casting distance and accuracy.
During the videoshoot for the BOOSTCONCEPT, the new Bantam lures performed really well. One bite on the World Pop was particularly intense. After not having any fish contact for quite a while, the water literally exploded while we were reeling in. The end-forty perch pounced like an asp on the compact long-cast popper and inhaled the thing so deeply that a strike was super intense. It's the biggest perch I've caught on a popper to date. Logically, since that bite, which still trembles in my arms, I'm even more convinced of the BOOST technologies. In the video, you can see that FLASH BOOST makes sense even on a surface lure. The body of the World Pop is so deep in the water that the fish notice the flashing. Anyone who has fished with a popper knows that many bites come in the resting phase after popping. So it's certainly no mistake if the hardbait sends out extra flashes even when stationary.
