Looks good Marshall. I love the ugly sticks. Never really used the shakespear reels before, but it's probably a good one. Here's a little tip, you can also use braided line and get more on the spool. You can fit about the same amount of 10lb braid on the spool as you could 4lb mono. Gives you more line, and more strength at the same time. That's why I use 10lb braid on my ultra-lights. Just in case I hook into a bigger fish, I don't have to worry about them breaking off at the bank when I try to land them like you do with the lighter mono lines. You also don't get line twist issues with braid like you can with mono. It's mostly personal preference though.👍💯
I do too. Thanks for the info buddy. I appreciate it. I mit go back to braid one day. I have use it before. It is good line to use. Thanks so much buddy, means a lot. Thanks for your kindness, thanks for your support
and what do you use for leader 4lb or 10 lb mono on small pan fish? if you go from 10lb braid to 4lb mono your line will pop when you get a big one so i dont understand the setup here
A slip bobber has its use when fishn deeper water like you said but any other time I prefer a fixed float....... Good info.... It's time to go fishn.....👍🏼
