Wow, Cheraye! Your description of Le Lion makes me want to run and smell this ASAP! I went into my local Chanel boutique 2 weeks ago to get samples from the Les Exclusif fragrance line. They told me that they didn't have any samples, and that they couldn't make me a sample due to COVID. I was so disappointed. She did spray a couple of cards, but it isn't the same. I like the way 1957 smells on paper, but I'd love to try it on my skin before I buy. I'm going to go back to the store to see if they've received any samples. Thanks for sharing your experience!❤

Chanel is my favorite fragrance house as well! Lovely, sophisticated scents. Their skin care is exceptional as well. I use the Le blanc foaming cleanser, Hydra Beauty Creme Riche, and the Le Lift Night Creme. There's a blue serum (I can't recall the name) that is like magic for dry skin.
My local Chanel boutique did not have a tester or sample. I was told I could buy it and if I didn’t like it return it😏 * I went back today and received samples💃🏽
I blind bought Coromandel. I love the first spray but at dry down, it gave me a huge headache I could not tolerate it. Even though I loved it. But I had to send it back. Yes, it is fabulous for cold brisk evening. It wears so well in the winter I agree. It’s a beast mode and projection is out of the world but longevity is ok on me. I heard le lion is better than the coromandel. Great review girl!

I am French and live in Paris. I am lucky enough to live not too far from the Chanel store on the Champs Elysee. I am not a huge fan of Chanel perfumes (I own #5 but never wear it) as I am more a TF or MFK girl. I went to the Chanel store 2 days ago. Initially, I wanted to smell Coromandel first and maybe le Lionel. I tried Coromandel first. It was OK. Probably because I had visited the Montale shop before and it had affected my smell. Then I tried le Lionel and it was as if I had received a huge slap on the face. It is AMAZING!!!!!! I had already spend 400 USD buying perfumes at Guerlain and Montale few minutes before, so I had to restrain myself from buying le Lionel. I will definitely buy it after Xmas.
