  • Kings head coach Mike Brown talks about Sunday's 120-100 season ending loss to the Warriors in Game 7 of their playoff series, the poor second half performance from his team, the incredible 50-point outing from Stephen Curry to propel Golden State into the next round, the sting he will carry into the summer and the bright future Sacramento has after their first postseason experience in 16 seasons.

Kev was using too much energy on Klay, and needed to look for his shot more all series.
But for the life of me I’m not sure why he kept Terrence Davis in there as long as he did. Should’ve had Davion in there most of the game making steph work ultra hard, TD defense non existent and made some dumb cross court passes and took out of rhythm shots (even though he made a couple)

Despite losing game 7 at home, Mike Brown has shown even more how prestigious of a coach he is especially with how long this team. They have a great nucleus and need a couple of more pieces, mainly in their interior. Hoping this team can build off this year’s success going into the future. That city was long overdue for a contending team and you could hear that during each game. Crowd was electric!!

Mike is a great coach but I honestly don't understand why he didn't start double-guarding Steph. Steph was on fire and the rest of the Warriors couldn't hit the side of a barn. By the 4th quarter Steph should've been seeing two bodies and just live with others having to make shots (anybody but Steph).

Looney is unstoppable on the inside in this game. The other players might be struggling in their shooting, but I think they can still make buckets if they drive inside or even a simple floater. Kings' center will be forced to move outside his range to defend since they're short on player due to double-teaming Steph, which will make Looney open on the inside.

This was a gamble and many teams faced this as well. If you double Curry, someone else is open and Brown took his chances. But I believe after Game 3 Warriors blowing out Kings, they were going to slow the series down to extend it. That's why Brown's demeanor changed drastically from hyperactive to more sedated. The reality of the business came into focus. Hey, it's for entertainment purposes only.

Game 6, Kerr started Poole (the worst +/- on the team) and kept Poole in in the 4th quarter. Warriors never win when they do that- all season long. Seems a little scripted to me like when Curry was about to break the 3pt record, but then they waited until they got to MSG to throw the big party.

    Barnes: Unconsistent in scoring.
    Kings Need:
Wings And Forward Playmakers and shooters.

What does coaching have to do with rebounding and missed free throws? Of course, size and strength play a role, but rebounding is mostly about positioning, timing, and determination...and, heck, if you can get away with going over the back, that always helps. Plus, missing THAT many free throws is almost always a dagger.
