Great little amp. Lots of tones and sounds. I have several larger amps but still find myself going back to this amp for late nights in the apartment Headphone jack keeps me going up all night.
Thanks for sharing your secret! It's an excellent amp, I've had it for four years and even though I also have a tube amp the champion is the champion... great sounding amp, extremely versatile and robust, all the fender spirit goes in this little monster
Sounds awesome! Will definitely give it a shot. I have the same amp, and while I love the way it sounds through the speaker, when I play through headphones, there is a sort of hissing white noise. Is there a way to remedy this?
It's strange if you only get the hissing through the headphone jack. I believe hissing normally comes from the guitar pick-ups, and it's common to have a little hissing, especially if you aren't touching the guitar strings. If it is only happening when listening through headphones, it seems like it could be an issue in the amp or headphones or the cable and jacks connecting the two. I always start by wiggling the cords around, especially near the jacks:) Hope this helps!
@@WillieSeaves It could be a grounding issue as well, since the place I live in right now has no grounded power source. It isn’t the pickups though, because the hissing occurs even without the guitar plugged in
@@valentinch0If you know your headphones are good and it doesn’t hiss through the speaker, it sure seems like it would have to be something with the amp. It could be the grounding like you said... Wish I could help more but I’m not really sure how to test that or what a solution would be. Maybe someone else watching will have a better idea
I have a 3.5 mm to 1/4 cord that I use to go directly into my MOTU 4pre. From there I have Digital Performer on my laptop. I've been able to get a better sound that way vs. miking the amp.

The best amp. Lovely sound!
Nice video! The distortion on the champion seems to be much better than the frontman series

You've discovered what a pair of Gibson P-100 pickups does!
If i dont get the 100, i feel like im getting fooled
How do you record your amp?

2:41 might want to practice those lead lines
@Trent Walker come on, you're the guy putting it out there in public. You got to expect feedback.
Nah the guy is putting something positive out into the world so should be commended imo
Oddly enough I know quite a few guitaritst that can't play even a basic pentatonic lick but are decent rhythm players... I dont get it
