I think the beauty of Drishyam is that Vijay never considers himself very smart and is never proud of what he as done.I mean when the judge says, "Yeh skeleton sameer deshmukh ka hai hi nahi", If I had been in Vijay's place, I would have a cunning smile on my face looking down😅....but Vijay doesn't....and ofcourse Ajay Devgan's look does the job🙌

Vinay's last lines:-"Main kabhi bhi uske maa baap ke saamne apni aankhein nhi utha sakta" shows that he is not a criminal . He's just a normal doing his best for the survival of his family. No unwanted reaction, no pride in what he has done shows us that he will never be able to forgive himself for what he has done to a boy's parents.
Real criminal is his mother for such bad upbringing, and even when she knows what her son did to that poor girl, she still doesn't go easy on her, showing absolutely no humanity.
Parents like that are what's wrong with this world.

Ajay's Acting hits differently.
This is what we call a good remake. I did watched original Drishyam 2 in Malyalam wayy before hindi ver. came, but the production quality, screenplay and sound design was wayy better in this hindi version.

It's disappointing to see a copied version of the Malayalam Drishyam 2 film, leaving the audience unaware of where these real spices came from, while I have. I've enjoyed many excellent Bollywood films, but simply copying scripts isn't a creative approach. Hopefully, this film will have a strong team behind it, one that truly appreciates real movie-making, and I'm pleased to see Akshay Khanna in the cast; he's an underrated star.
