Hunger Action Month Spotlight: Urban League of Kansas

Join us each Friday in September as we shine a light on one of our partners fighting hunger with us.
Every 3rd Thursday of the month, the Kansas Food bank partners with the Urban League of Kansas in Wichita to provide fresh produce to about 160 households. Urban League is located i the 67214 zip code, which is an area designated as a food desert. Because of this partnership, neighbors that do not have access or cannot afford healthy and nutritious foods receive a box of mixed fruits and vegetables each month.
