I personally feel that the 'nepotism problem' is somewhat worsening. Because, back in the 90s and 2000s most of the star kids had talent, those that didn't left Bollywood. And, there was also good balance of outsiders & star kids. But in recent years it is mostly star kids that are being launched, there have been very few new outsiders in Bollywood.
Untalented. Zabardasti ke actors. Jaise baap ki jahgir. Like it's their birth right to enter Bollywood with lead roles.

Ranbir Kapoor Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor are the most talented actors actually they are being so loved just because of their acting like if we come across the movie ideas of Ranbir Kapoor the script selection is amazing because he loves to test his skills in different different kinds of movies same goes for Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor but star kids like Ananya Pandey are not experimenting themselves as they just want to be a part of a multistar movie and played side role in almost every movie and about Tiger Shroff it's like that he is just don't want to come out from its his comfort zone a neither any star kid it is like they just want to have the luxurious lifestyle in their movies according to me I think they just want to be in their comfort zone.
But I will also add one thing that Shraddha Kapoor is also a product of nepotism but her acting skills are so amazing and people judge her on her acting skills only just because of these star kids apart from shraddha,Ranbir, Hrithik and Shahid Kapoor some actors like Tripti she played an amazing role in Laila Majnu,Qala,bulbul like how amazing she was in these movie's but still before Animal didn't get any appreciation and same goes for actors like Avinash tiwary,Vishaal jethwa,konkona Sen sharma and many more...

Exactly can't agree more 💯 Even as a non Indian, I truly adore when Indian cultural aspects are shown and focused on.. that's how I fell in love with Hindi movies. Ek time pe angrezi ya european styles itne zyada highlighted nahi the Bollywood movies mein.. When i saw RRR, Sita Ramam, Sufiyum Sujatayum and many malayalam movies, I felt like that's what I crave and that's the true source of beauty and pride❤ That indianness never fails to steal my heart. Another reason can be that ye starkids zyada tension nahi le rahe cause they think audiences already know them aur unko har baar mauka milega chahe unke debuts ache ho ya na ho. Maybe they don't feel the need to learn more and grow 🤷🏻♀️ For that, I immensely respect Janhvi's love for her craft and progression. I feel she's constantly trying to be better and her script choices are really interesting. Hopefully we see Hindi movies in a better place in the future

Most of the Star Kids don't connect with the common people. When they play the character of any poor or middle class person, they can't do it with much ease. But when actor like Amir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgan play that character, audience relates with them. That is something we miss in today's starkids. Even they put a little effort in getting something, they use to call them as it their struggle. They don't know what struggle actually is? And you can't see any variation seen in their performances. All of the characters looks like the same. They are not versatile like Amitabh Bachchan, Amir Khan, or SRK.

Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Sunny Deol, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee, Karishma Kapoor, etc themselves came from nepotism and all made name for themselves due to acting. Later Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor also came from nepotism and did well. Also we saw Uday Chopra, Tushar Kapoor, Harman Baweja, etc being sidelined. Fardeen Khan did only side roles in multi-star movies. Even these people are much better than current star kids. Problem is today's star kids are too much elitist, they hardly speak Hindi and also can't connect with the roots. Worst of all, they can't even act. Atleast earlier star kids used to act and could do grounded roles too
The reason why people loved Shahid Kapoor is that he had to struggle his way to the top. His father Pankaj Kapoor is a character artist and not a star. Shahid Kapoor learnt acting and dancing from Shiamak Davar's academy. He started off as a background dancer in movies before making it as a actor with his hard work and didn't get things served to him on a platter and he had to earn them. And when he got his chance he showed his acting skills. That's why people love him. If star kids also come up this way then they won't get any hate. Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor got movies through nepotism directly but they also showed their acting skills right from their 1st movie and also did roles people could connect with. Hrithik's movies like Kaho na pyar hai, Koi mil gaya, Lakshya, etc were loved by people in his starting years. Ranbir did movies like Rocket Singh, Wake up sid, Rockstar, etc which got loved and people praised his diverse acting skills in the 3 movies. Compare this to today's elitist star kids who haven't done any of these
Also even now we have some good star kids like Babil Khan and Vardhan Puri who should be getting more movies. Even Utkarsh Sharma is good too and he showed his acting skills in Genius movie. Audience will love star kids like Babil Khan, Vardhan Puri, Utkarsh Sharma, etc who can act and are grounded too unlike these elitist star kids which the Bollywood ecosystem promotes

Back in 90s it was called hindi cinema .....but in later 90s due to liberalisation. .... rich kids like karan johar and adi chopra very much influenced with western culture. ..... yash chopra spend his whole life promoting Switzerland so that Swiss govmnt awarded him for that. ......
Later in early 20s these first generation spoiled rich kids overtaken the whole hindi cinema. ...they named it as bollywood(typical romantic drama content) After earning crores of crores they got enough money to spend on their half mind starkids to make them faces of hindi cinema which is a joke....many of them don't even know proper hindi and they will represent india.😂 ......
