with the ghosts and the fishing boat from Hidden Side added, this fishing village is starting to look like a very good location for John Carpenter's 'The Fog' to start haunting the locals! ^^ Nice to see people are attempting MOCs with these sets, with Monster Hunter sets added to this, it could make for some interesting combinations. This ReMOC is making me feel tempted to buy that Old Fishing Shop I originally had no interest in!
I wish I had all your Legos!! It always cracks me up a little on the intro; The logo is professional looking and the music is dramatic, and then it cuts to Lego! 👍
What I really like about your videos is that you explain everything so well and you approach your MOCs or ReMOCs in a very structured manner. Plus, you come up with ideas that make the build better and more playable than the original versions - just thinking of your idea of making builds modular for instance. Have you ever calculated how much your enhancements would cost on the production level? I'd wager consumers would definitely pay a little more in order to get a more playable or more stable version. Lego should take note! :-)
Your remoc looks great alongside the old fishing store. I actually like the dining area on top of the building as I feel it gives the roof some nice detail. I will probably get this set and remoc it similarly to what you have done. 😄
As ever, love it JC...great review and MOC, love the way you explain all your details and steps of how you approach a MOC, and...love this one, gotta get it to for my city ..keep up the Good work..till soon ! cheers, Mario Berendijk, the Netherlands
I was thinking about purchasing this for similar reasons! I missed out on hidden side:( I'm hoping to Bricklink or whatever a few of the sets. Great build!
This set is so cleverly designed and the selection of the colors are such that doesn’t affect your MoC if you don’t have these exact colors. It looks good how your MoC develops and I think when I get it, I will use that video as a guide. Thanks for sharing Master.
That is fantastic. You really worked your magic on it! I’d love to see what it is like in your city too. This shack is on my shopping list. I’d really like to see a parts list for what you have done so I can build it similarly (I don’t have a large parts library yet so would have to buy extras).
i love the hidden side sets as they are but you made something incredible out of the shrimp shack! absolutely beautiful almost makes me wish i was a minifigure, so i could stroll along the beach and have a snack at the diner
I really like it,I know it detracts from the play feature.I have recently started collecting the hidden side sets.I like the theme, it kind of reminds me of a mix of monster squad and the Goonies. It would be really cool If you could make a MOC of the HS characters HQ.Awesome tutorial with plenty of good ideas. Thank you.
So just a though but what about extending the deck over the water and have it curve towards the dinning area? In fact you could make the deck area big enough for a couple tables. Just a thought. You do a great job!
Hi JC, cool reMOC. I got recently the 70419 and the boat it's a perfect match for the fisherman's hut. I still don't understand how anyone can thumbs down your videos....
Thanks a lot! Yes, the boat's colours match well. Some people are dyslexic so get confused with the thumbs, but they mean well. They probably are wondering why so many people are giving a thumbs down so are trying to even it out.
Another great video. Planning on doing something similar myself. Excellent pairing with the Fishing Store. In my city floor space is at a premium. Your moc has a great flat roof to use as the floor for adding a second level. Know you have a few smaller stores in your beach area. Maybe you could combine to free us some more room. I do miss the tree you removed in your moc. I am hoping to keep in mine. One more thought, instead of making the baseplate in front of you moc just water have you thought about a small beach or some rocks/water (like a tide effect, some rocks sticking out here and there). You may get enough space to put in some more dining tables or a nice walking path or some mini figs fishing off some rocks. Lot of good possibilities here, sure you will create something awesome!
Great video JC👍✅ I love how you explain your thoughts while building. It’s a very unique skill. That many RUclipsrs struggle with. Keep up the great work
I would raise the shrimp shack to the height of the building next to it and carry the walkway past the shrimp shack to make them both more integrated. Looking cool though for sure!
Great integration! Just add the Hidden Side ship (I don't know the set's name :) ) and do a little pier right in front of the Shrimp Shack. You can even use the albino crocodile there and make it a Florida bayou scene.
Adding the same railing as the fishing shack would also tie in the builds. Plus it will prevent your lego people from falling and dying.... Just a thought... From Aussie Adam

Thanks! I appreciate it! Glad you like the approach. Unfortunately, I don't really calculate as that would likely take another 30min to do that.
Very shrimpy shackey JC I do loved it very very well paired imo to the yea old fishing store....you still got the magic touch👍👍❤️💖💕
Yes! It is Shrimpy Shackey! My words of the week!

Cool! Thanks! Just make sure customers don't fall off your roof!

The old fish store is the best Lego set ever made

I now want the diner set
Thanks a lot!
Great idea. Looks good.
Thanks a lot!
Like your video, very informative ...and great remake there!

Thanks a lot! Yes, you are right, a second level can easily be done. The tree is still there, just on the other side.
Love it, so shrimp shakey lol
Yes! That is a word! Thanks!
Well done, I love it!!
Thank you!
You’ve done a great job here. Well done. You’ve made me want to buy this myself. Thank you fir sharing.
Thanks a lot!
Cant wait to see some minifigs with this ! Great work as always JC👍
Thanks a lot!
Just got the hidden side wrecked shrimp boat set today hopefully going to get the shrimp shack tomorrow
Awesome!

Awesome. Just awesome, man.
Thanks a lot!
JC, I’m very interested in doing the same to my set. Do you have parts list/instructions on your website?
Unfortunately, no instructions or parts list. It was basically build as I go. Sorry!
Great build! I love how these two look together.
Btw; at the end of your video the “subscribe” and “watch these next” buttons are missing
Thanks a lot! I added them in.
That's really great! I always hated sets that had no back to buildings. However now I'm worrying that there's no door. Hahahahhaa
Nice! Catch a fish, and eat it with a beer! Nicely done!
Thanks a lot!
Great video dude! Keep it up! 😊😊😃
Thanks a lot!
@@SmallBrickCity No problem, i subbed i would really appreciate if u could do the same?
Very nice👍😀 Like!
Thanks a lot!
Big Claps for you
Great integration! Just add the Hidden Side ship (I don't know the set's name :) ) and do a little pier right in front of the Shrimp Shack. You can even use the albino crocodile there and make it a Florida bayou scene.
Thanks a lot! I used the River Houseboat. See the latest video! Thanks!
Adding the same railing as the fishing shack would also tie in the builds. Plus it will prevent your lego people from falling and dying.... Just a thought... From Aussie Adam
That would make sense if one were to preserve the dining area on the roof.
It would be awesome if you remoced the newberry high school set
I don't really like the look of it personally so am undecided whether to get it. But if I do... I will!
Nice.
Thanks a lot!
Brilliant
Thanks!
No my friend thank u ,Absolutely brilliant "remoc" 🤣✌👍
No toilet JC. Perhaps a small toilet block (as done before) close to the Shrimp Shack in case customers get an off one.... 😣💩
Yeah, I used to have an out-house that would fit perfectly with this scene but had to use the parts for other MOCs.
👍
You might want to get rid of the eye on the back of the shrimp l
Yes, I did in the next vid! Thanks!
