El Paso is right on the border of the state of Chihuahua. Those who have family in El Paso will almost without fail have family in the city of Juarez, just across the border. El Paso is one of a few places where Pachuco culture is said to have originated. Many Mexicans would cross through Northern Chihuahua into El Paso, then spread to the rest of the country from there. Many say that's how Pachuco culture spread out from that one spot.
And if you really want to keep believing there were no Pachucos in Northern Chihuahua, please don't look up "Tin Tan Pachuco" here on RUclips. Tin Tan was born Mexico City, but raised in the city of Juarez.
