krishma15 Well, Naruto gets you invested in the great characters and story, but it takes forever to get the story out.
Inuyasha is a timeless beauty, since it has a perfect tragic story and can time it's comedy really well. No fillers either, and any less-focused episodes still advance the plot or character development.
I also really recommend Charlotte and Wolf's Rain.
And, although this isn't an anime, I saw the first episode of a live-action series called The Shannara Chronicles and loved it. It's an elven-type post-apocalyptic world with magic and it really blew me away. It might be like Game of Thrones, but has less inappropriate content.

i don't know if you think like me, but what I caught of this song is an immense sadness caused by the delicate feeling of love which goes beyond the heart and wrap it with their wings ... this sadness can be felt with every note of this magnificent melody....

Forever Kaname
Yes Zero has been through such pain, but have you thought of the pain and agony from Kaname? This series by no means will have any happy ending, because there are those of us who are pro Kaname and Yuki and pro Zero and Yuki. Personally I'm Kaname from chapter one~ and if you've not read the manga then stop whatever you are doing now and read it, there is really so much more story line.
the comments are unbearable!!! read the manga! Zero and Yuki end up together and Kaname is frozen for a thousand years, but after zero dies from natural causes, yuki sacrifices her life to turn kaname human. kaname then lives on with his daughter, and yuki and zeros son.
Actually Yuki and Zero's "son" is their daughter!!!!!! XD

But I swear to God, when I finished the manga and lent it to my mom after words, we starting arguing over whether or not he was a girl or boy. So I went to Vampire Knight wiki and looked it up and it said he was a girl!!!!!!!!! I don't know when he became a boy, but at first he was a girl!!!!!!!!! XD
+Aoibhinn McCormack Its kinda difficult to explain but Kaname threw his heart into the furnace used to make vampire slaying weapons, so the furnace could continue to make these weapons. And Yuki goes off with Zero and gives birth to Kaname's child and then she has a child with Zero. After many years and Zero passes away Yuki gives up her life to bring back Kaname and turn him into a human. I hope it makes some sense!!!!
+Aoibhinn McCormack Ummmmmmm................. The manga doesn't really tell you, but I've always just assumed he died of natural causes because Yuki was always with him. I'm not entirely sure though.

I remember finishing the manga. Made me feel depressed AF. Damn, if only they made a season 3 fr. I would be the happiest person in the world. Watched the anime in 2011 when I was 11. I was so obsessed with Vampire Knight back then lol, and now eight years later I'm freaking 18 and I still go back to rewatch the anime once in a while. It's by far one of my favorites and will be in my heart forever.
Yuki loved Kaname completely.. It was always Kaname. Zero was more of just a brother to her. Zero loved her, but there was nothing for her to return. And when Yuki left with Kaname, when she went to live with the man she'd always loved, there was some part of her that she couldn't deny. A part of her that DID love Zero. A part of herself she couldn't forget, and maybe didn't even notice until she'd made her choice. That's why she went back to Zero. That's why he loved her unconditionally, and she loved him. They had children together and he made her happy till his very last breath. Yuki and Zero were epic because their love went against codes, reason, and norm. Their love was otherworldly. Kaname may have been great to Yuki, but you can't deny what happened. It's true that after Zero dies, she returns to Kaname, but what her and Zero had together wasn't unreal. Don't believe me? Finish the manga.
EXACTLY WHY I CANT OVER THE WHOLE GODDAMN SERIES. But I still blame Yuki... I almost feel as pissed at her as everyone was before they found out she was Kanames little sister and "bride to be" ... I felt like she was kind of selfish. If anyone suffered more it was Zero. And I guess partially Kaname for having to put up an act that long, but even he doesn't have it as bad, he wanted all this to happen as he said. It's kind of fucked up, Zero loses his parents, he gets bit against his will, disowned by his own kind humans and vampires alike, he turned level E ;-; also against his will, he had to kill and consume his own twin who chose the vampire that ruined his life over him before, and he had to watch the girl he loved not only go after another countless times but walk away with him, and she sort of just (in my point of view) gave up on him when he died. She may have loved him but not enough. I'm unsatisfied and I wanna kick Yuki in the face because the fact that she got to have all this and not give much in return is flipping ludacris.
Yah I get you. I totally agree. As much as she may have loved Zero, he went through so much for her. Kaname was hot, and if I was Yuki, I would've would've done a one night stand vampire-sexing session with kaname, just to say I'd done a pure blood, and then gone to Zero. JK JK!! haha yah by the end of seasn 1 of VK, i hated Yuki for being a fricken idiot. By the end of season 2, I was so done. And that's why I read the manga. And still, she's a b*tch. Also I felt the ending of the manga was too neutral--she got both guys, and Zero was still jipped. But what happens is that Zero dies, and then Yuki somehow gives up her life force or smthng to bring Kaname back bec she loves him so damn much. But the author leaves you wondering if he came back as a vampire or as a mortal-which I liked.
I just felt like Yuki did not deserve either of them. She was very selfish saying that she loved kaname then zero then kaname again then all over again. To who have read the manga.............. It disgust me that she had s*x with zero just after kaname's daughter was born... I guess I get it that she wanted a companion for her daughter but still, she disgusts me...
Yah. I believe the Webster dictionary's synonym for "Yuki Cross" is "hoe."
And here we have it, the reasons to hate Yuki Cross. With a full explanation too. ;-; I still can't help but go "Poor, Zero!"

So depressing.. I listen to the theme songs every once in a while.. I can't get over it T.T And I probably never will get over this anime
So beautiful yet so sad. I'm a Kaname fan, but whenever I listen to this I feel sooo sad for Zero. Makes me feel how much his heart bleeds for Yuuki. =(
Nevertheless, I would still want Yuuki to end up with Kaname. They're not real siblings after all.

Ugh I love Vampire Knight so much. This show is more than just romance and vampires. It's really deep and I love it. About the whole shipping thing; it's so difficult because kaname and zero have both something special and unique. But I think I like Zero more and I think he deserves Yuki. I think Kaname is pretty creepy sometimes. Idk guys this is just my opinion. I'm not really a manga person so I never read that but I wish there was a season 3. So sad that there is still no new season. I'm crying. 😭 btw; whats wrong with japanese people? Is that a thing or something? To not continue an awesome show? Just like Yona of the dawn.
