iphone 11 user here. there is no laggy on mine, i use basic stuff such as video streaming, music, social apps, no gaming. this phone just works

Do speed test between new samsung phones to old samsung phones. Also if the 11 is this bad how is the iphone xr and iphone se2020 performing considering that both have the lowest amount of ram at 3gb running ios 17

@@andrejtb1 I also have an iPhone 11. I only saw lag once when I had 1GB of free storage left. He warmed up and began to slow down. And that's all, after that I never saw anything like it again. 🤷🏻♂️

You should do this again with ios 17.5, i use the iphone 11 and it was pretty slow on the last version but since i updated it to 17.5 it’s been alot better
Great comparison: my current phone (15) vs my previous iPhone (11)! Quite a big difference, in speed and in display brightness…I loved having an iPhone 11, by the way, but in 2024 it’s starting to get a bit “old”…

Hi, I have an iPhone 11 and I’ve noticed when I’m almost reaching the full capacity of my storage, the phone starts to lag as we see it in your video.
Even though the 11 is 5 years old I think it held up pretty well, the performance leg is probably due to the storage being almost full and slowing it down

How much memory is on iPhone 11? 64 or 128. It will lag even there is no at least 10-18 gb free space. As every SSD ofcourse

There’s definitely something wrong with your 11. Mine runs perfectly smoothly. And I also have a 15 pro, so i would notice if the 11 was choppy.
Try opening a shitload of apps and say again, also wtf, its lagging because of full storage , all my androids aren't getting worse on full storage and i was thinking all these years that nvme on the iPhones is better type of storage than ufs.
Thought i was the only one experiencing that weird lag on the 11... I have the 11 pro max and it also has that weird sudden freeze lag 🤦♂️
I am now considering getting the iPhone 15 for my grandmother for her birthday to replace her iPhone 11.
The iPhone 11 doesn’t lag, it’s his unit (I would wait until it stops getting software updates. It’s a waste of money tbh)

I own an iPhone 11 and have just purchased the iPhone 15 plus , and I love al the updated tech , the 11 is not with much I will just put it in my draw at home
Im watching this video on my iPhone 11 lol I’ve had it since it launched. Although it would be totally worth it to upgrade it to 15 im not going to because i am waiting for 16 im even considering s24 ultra. It’s either iPhone 16 series or s24 ultra for me.
I just switched from a 11 to a 15 plus, also my 11 was lagging with simple apps also
iPhone 11 user here and i do experience this sometimes especially when I’m typing its kinda annoying same with some games and apps they lag but mines never when to a black screen. Although I’m planning to upgrade to a 13 or 13 Pro because my phone keeps lagging sometimes during games or basic apps or just typing i usually close all my apps and only have 1 or 2 apps open in the background.

My Iphone 11 is also lagging. I notice it in small games. It happens occasionally for a few seconds each time and then its gone again. Guess its a software issue.
I don't play games in my iPhone 11 because its a bit laggy now for games. I am using my iPad 9 for games.
While the Apple A11 Bionic chip is definitely getting older, I think that the random iPhone 11 glitches that you have mentioned have to do with the limited amount of Ram (4GB) as well as the speed of storage - which has gotten better YoY.

Not fair comparing iPhone 11 having left that 3gb of storage. Thats why it was acting like that… i have the same unit with 128 gb and never lagged like that!
I have a family member that has iphone 11 pro on ios 16, and it runs very smooth comparing to my iphone 13 that has ios 17 on it
i have an iphone 11 and it doesn’t really lag like the one on the right so i’m pretty sure the storage is causing this because i have an 2021 ipad and it lags so much cuz the storage is nearly full 😭
I’m not experiencing that with my iPhone 11 but then I don’t play intensive games. My storage capacity is 64 gn and I use 24.33gb.
even though the iPhone 11 is 4 years old imo it still preforms great, 2-3 more seconds to load is not bad at all especially considering the age of the phone

My 3yo iPhone 11 has never done this. Probably something wrong with your unit, the storage filling to the brim or the battery health!
My iPhone is 4.5 years old, but I think it’s because my storage is full or something I’m going to look into it

I do use my iPhone 11 (black) 128gb. Still works perfect to me
it would be interesting to see if the 11 had about 30% more storage how it would have went, even the battery health may have been a contributing factor , add to that, the 11 has 30 ish % less ram for a triple whammy , and last but not least , a lot of those games have become huge resource suckers in recent years .
Just as a matter of interest i look at my iPhone 12 Pro Max which i treated with kid gloves still has 91 % battery health , id take a punt Nicks 11 battery is significantly more tired.
Still have the iPhone 11. Works perfect. I will probably keep it 2 more years

The stuttering on the 11 could be due to low battery health.
To be honest my mother has an iPhone 11. She literally uses it for phone calls, FaceTime, WhatsApp. She is a very light user and I recently had her phone's battery replaced so now its back to 100% health. She says she would like to keep it for another 3 years💀💀...
You could also make a fair bet your mums phone storage will have plenty of room left too , unlike nicks 11 which was nearly to capacity.
@@mikldude9376 yeah my mum's iPhone is a 128GB model and she used up like 30GB. Rest all is free😂. So its super snappy. I too have a 14 pro and its a 128GB model and i used up only 35GB. I am a very light user. I never play games on my iPhone. I only use it for productivity and utility. Gaming and entertainment is done on iPad and Mac for me😊
Yeah, if she is a light user and the storage isn’t full, it will feel buttery smooth. I have the iPhone 11 and it doesn’t lag at all. I will also keep it for another 3 years

Is it really that big of a deal in basic daily use ? I have a 12 pro max 60 hz and a 14 pro max 120 hz , and if the 12 is closer to me , its absolutely hardly any difference in the general use , the 12 still loads apps and web pages in quick time , it still has the silky smooth transitions and animations you would expect of an iphone .
Admittedly I don’t game with phones , but for me in daily use it still works well.
However if you are talking about it in a value consideration not having an extra feature , then perhaps that might be a fair call.

At this price point, this is just nuts to not have 120Hz to be honest. iPhone's are generally very smooth but having 120Hz is more of like a quality of life improvement. Its like RUclips premium. You don't need it if you can tolerate the advertisements but if you have the premium, its a quality of life improvement.
compare it to its original ios the phone came with. See if they slowed it down.

Iphone 11 has low ram than 15 , and the speed of the ram may also be slow .. still if you only run one app at a time it will be fine.
i definitely noticed the iphone 15 also has way better efficiency, the battery dropped to 93 percent at the end of the test and it started at 100, the iphone 11 started at 90 percent and it dropped to 75 percent, yes its a much older phone and their was games being tested but the battery is one noticable upgrade, the 15s battery smokes the iphone 11 in almost every way, the battery size is similar but the A16 bionic chip is way more efficient
Yes the A16 chip and a more optimized chip, but the iPhone11 chip is doing much more "effort" to run the current applications and it is also worth remembering that the iPhone 11 was released in 2019 so its battery is more worn due to the time of use of the smartphone.

I had this happen when I filled 64 GB to the end...but when I left 10 GB free space I never encountered this again...works like new on iOS 17.4.1

I’m sorry but you really should redo with video comparison. Your 11 is lagging like an iPhone 6. People are keeping their iPhones much longer because they run so well. (unless in this case, full storage or maybe a degraded battery)

what happened with iphone 11 when i own iphone 11 2022 it was no lag stuff but now its un usable i think full storage is the reason in 2023 there was no lag in last speed test
