Very helpfull video, but there is a small glitch that I saw more people complain about; when you try to connect Tiktok in the shopify account, it keeps on loading and does not give you the option to log in. What helped for me is to click on 'create account' and navigate in the pop up screen to 'log in'.

Hey Stewart Gauld, I am facing issue related to marketing catalog locations. "A country or region can't be selected for your storefront. Check that your Shopify store has properly configured language and currency for your intended location". This pop up is appearing. Hey mate, Hmmm that is odd. Make sure that your setting are all correct based on the message. You may need to change the currency with the locations that you had added.

@@StewartGauld I was able to get it to work. I had to start the process over fully in Chrome. I logged into both Shopify and TikTok inside separate Chrome tabs (and not the apps) and then the authorization worked. Now the apps are connected.

Did you figure out this issue? I’m having the same problem. Even when I’m able to “link my account” it only shows a user number (not my business tiktok account) and when I click connect nothing will load, only a white screen. I've done everything here - but in the tiktok shop seller center, I have no products and it's prompting me to sign up with either SKU IQ or Silk Digital Connector... Shouldn't I be able to do what those paid services do with the Shopify connection?

Yeh same here. Shopify is connected to TikTok, Shopify catalogue is connected and products are ready for TikTok marketing/ Shopping. But in TikTok there are no products pulling through

Yes you need to have a business account on TikTok first. Then navigate through this process of setting up the store.

Why did you choose enhanced data sharing instead of maximum?
I find the performance of ads is much better when enhanced is selected vs the other two options.

You can add your website link in bio, yes when you have a business tiktok account.

This method shows this. Once connected you will have the option to display your products.
The new Shopify direct to TikTok Shop just launched!! No longer need 3rd party app. It is now in the backend of Shopify on the TikTok Sales channel tab. Before when you went through the Tiktok - Shopify integration the products still did not populate on "Tiktok Shop" (Tiktok yes, Tiktok advertising, yes but NOT Tiktok Shop.) If you go in you will see that there is an option to now add Tiktok Shop.

Hi Steward, I was watching your video and I have a problem when I try to set up the TikTok Ads Manager. It says there are no accounts and it prompts me to create one, even though I've already connected my TikTok business account. Do you know why this might be happening? Thanks! :)

Did you figure out this issue? I’m having the same problem. Even when I’m able to “link my account” it only shows a user number (not my business tiktok account) and when I click connect nothing will load, only a white screen.
When I’ve tried to create a new one, it says one already exists since my account has been made already

@@StewartGauld I had a problem with connecting Tik Tok to the shopify store, and this reason is that I am in such a domain where shopify does not allow it to connect, and is there any way to avoid this problem?
I've done everything here - but in the tiktok shop seller center, I have no products and it's prompting me to sign up with either SKU IQ or Silk Digital Connector... Shouldn't I be able to do what those paid services do with the Shopify connection?

@@DinaLorr I ended up getting the SILK connector - I had a google meet with someone from their team and he helped me set it up. It works, but it is certainly a new product... the stuff DOES get pushed to Tiktok though - so it's just a matter of getting people to buy it now..... anyone have any good videos for suggestions on how to get quality affiliates to sell your stuff?

Yeh same here. Shopify is connected to TikTok, Shopify catalogue is connected and products are ready for TikTok marketing/ Shopping. But in TikTok there are no products pulling through
Any solution found?. Also interested to know if any purchases on tiktok shop are fullfilled through tiktok or within shopify?
