I don't think anybody should be saying that one Dune film is better than the other as I think one makes the other version better for existing. They do some things great and other things terribly, but the what they do great is in such radically different areas.
@@williammontpirg4080 haha yep but its true. The new one just has updated visuals (which aren't necessarily 'better', just new). Also leaves out a lot of the interesting things I liked in the first one. But I still liked the new one.
Both are good well all 3 Its hard to beat the old one as this is what got me into Dune books both adaptions are book inaccurate..but the new one is very good as well

Literally blew my mind Lynch one, and fell in love with the Dune universe because of it but the new one would have not hyped me at all for Dune

During his dream in the tent in the new version, I was expecting him to say "they shall call me maud dib.... hoping they nail that moment in part 2
I love how you can hear him use the voice subtle but can hear use it on Jessica when he says listen a second time

For all the carping criticisms, this Dune movie has more heart, more time, than the barrage of over-stimulation that is Dune 2021.
