Yeah, man. That fighting style switching system, that we can see MK: Deadly Alliance, MK: Deception/Unchained and MK: Armageddon, was pretty cool. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to play those three games and I hope I will someday. But I still don't know why they abandoned it since MK9.
God, I miss Kenshi's San Shou style. For anyone who doesn't know about it, it's a form of Chinese kickboxing, but traditionally, you'd wear armour. I think it's a based off some ancient military fighting techniques or something.
Funfact for those who aren't already aware: Kenshi is literally dead in Mk11. You find his zombie-lookin' corpse with a sword jabbed threw his back and out of his gut in the krypt. Btw great gameplay and thanks for sharing 👍. Imo Deadly Alliance was hands-down the best Mk of the early 2000s...
None of the styles are rly accurate in this game except the specific striking styles. I noticed characters doing "judo" "wrestling" "jujutsu" etc but they only throw strikes lol. It's just a stance I guess

To anyone who hasn't played this yet, you absolutely have to!! This was the first reboot to the franchise before MK9 and it was awesome.

Interesting that Kenshi's fatality can't pull out everyone's eyes since certain characters wear glasses or a mask.

I hate quan chi’s “tang soo do” style. I use to take tang soo do and it looks nothing like that
