Great stuff - Thankyou!
Then, as now, a great read.
Thanks for your comment Christian. FAB
A great book
Very good book, Thank you so much.
Sounds like Jimmy Stewart, who would have been a good choice to play Bowen.
I have just found and re-read this whole series that I first read in 1975. Huge fun, Burroughs is still in my top ten of writers. He does not need a thousand pages to create an alternative universe. Still entertaining after nearly a hundred years. Can the same be said of any of his contemporaries?
Amazing books, I somehow never read most.
yes it can be said

Why are Libravox audio books read in such a boring manner? What happened to tone, expression, excitement? YAWN!
These are NOT professional voice talents. Librivox was started for reading to
the blind. Some readers are terrible... move on and find another channel that carries t he book.
Fair point.
We always upload the best version of an audiobook when more than one public domain version of an audiobook is available.
Some Librivox readers are truly excellent. Listen to The Time Machine (in our Favorites). We're sure you won't be disappointed. FAB
Where might I find YOUR favorites? I voice talented at Braille Not totally sure history of Librivox. but enjoy your channel greatly.
Thank you Bo. Subscribers to our channel should be able to scroll down our RUclips Profile Page until you see our favorites.
We've also just added a new section on our Profile Page, called "Popular Uploads". This shows the videos which have had the most views and positive reviews.
The Time Machine is the second one on the list, partly because it is an excellent book and partly because the narrator, is fantastic. FAB
