I'm born and raised in Toronto and worked in the neighbourhood Drake grew up in for a bit. This beef shined a light on Drake's character and he really be a white boy from that hood. Now, he reminds me a lot of the ppl I met there and he never learned or grew out of it, which is crazy considering how many opportunities he had to learn about American hip hop culture, and the ppl he had access to. I know full blood white boys from that hood that understand the culture better than Drake.

To me, it seems telling on how much pride is involved with Kendrick and Drake. It’s one thing to have fans debate but another when their peers in the industry weight in and pick sides. It’s clear to see that more of the peers were vibing off Kendrick than Drake in this battle.

In my personal opinion, just the sheer fact that Drake is being accused of being a PDF is enough of a reason for people to distance themselves and not defend him. Especially with all these videos of him in several compromising positions with underage girls. Drake fans are weird and that’s exactly why Kendrick said they are “Not like Us”.
You know anyone can make accusations right? Especially in this day and age any man can be accused of anything and have their entire life destroyed. The fact that a man goes after another man in that fashion makes me lose all respect.
I was never a Kendrick fan, I never liked his style of rapping, whack flow (to me). But now I understand that he’s also a snake, willing to sacrifice another man to the public mob because of his own internal demons.

I'm gonna say it plain as Jane, if this was around the time Kendrick's album was going to drop, UGM could of told Drake to make that interview disappear. before you say that that's not true look at the recent issue UMG has supposedly reached out to Kendrick to to get him to drop the beef and accusations because it would f up they're money and if the artist don't want to go through with UMG demands. well UMG can put an artist in what they call development hell, what this means is that for the overall lifetime of your current contract, you could not put out an album without UMG approval, they will not promote you, they will deny any endorsement's on your behalf in some cases they will make you back the money on your contract and even put an exorbitant about on your contract so other companies cannot buy you're contract. crazy the power these companies have

I fell in love with Hip Hop in 1980. Actually, it's my first love! I have watched/listened to this genre warp into something almost non-recongizable from it's orgin. My love for Kenderick is that he embodies what true hip hop is. We learned our history, positivity, all emotions, dances, and everybody had unbelievable beats. Let's see which established rappers are going to click back up with Drake. That's when it's a Bkack artist problem to think they need Drake for anything. However, where the money resides is usually where the people flock.
