This was seriously so helpful thank you! Ok so to make a long story short I always have a super heavy night time flow on night 1 and 2. I was previously using always overnight maxi size 4 (leaked in back) and then always maxi overnight size 5. Always overnight maxi size 5 is kinda ok except when I would get up in the morning the period flow would just literally sit on top of the pad and not soak in! So when I went to change it the liquid wasn’t soaked in and would cause a mess! I thought I was going crazy and something was wrong with me. Then you mentioned in the video it has a “breathable layer” on top. Ohhhh ok makes sense. I don’t like that layer on top! Otherwise the pad is perfect size, shape, stick, etc. So now I’ll try the size 6 and Kotex 5. Days 4-7 I can literally use whatever ultra thin pad. Days 1-3 I need something seriously thick and long. Thank you so much!!! I’m not even going to lie I honestly feel like brands could improve in the ultra heavy overnight pad department. We only really have a FEW options of thick maxi super long extra heavy overnight pads. And I do NOT like disposable period underwear- not comfortable, too expensive!
the problem i always had to deal with is that the overnight pads i was using (always size 4) was that it didnt absorb fast enough, so i found that the kortex allnighter ones with the bigger bottom worked the best 😄
Thank you so much for your help! I am also the member of heavy period community and I use Walmart brand incontinence diapers at night and Walmart brand incontinence pads (overnight pads) for heavy days. Next time you should buy different incontinence pads and try them for periods:)
Thanks for measuring all the pads. I use the Kotex all nighter. I’m looking for a longer pad. I’m 5ft 10 in tall. My Dr told me not to wear anything pad that is scented. You did a great job of comparing all the pads.

For always ultra thin size 5, I always have an issue with the back folding/bunching cause the edges don’t have enough adhesive if any at all. Do any of ur top 5 pads have that issue as well?
In my experience, the U by Kotex all nighter did not bunch on me. The adhesive is super sticky. If you are looking for something seamless, the disposable underwear are nice.

None of the pads really work for me as my issue lies more with the front of the pads not being long enough. I have to use period underwear especially at night, and I am one who does not sleep in just position at night.
no matter what pad I use or how I sleep (I'm a side sleeper) my blood doesn't even get on the pad and runs all the way down to my ass and I bleed all over the back of my pjs and on to my bed so I have to use a towel. Ugh. It's so annoying. and I cant use tampons they are painful for me and I really bleed through them. I have endometriosis and fibroids. Isn't that some shit!

My flow is too heavy with the Infiniti pads and my blood sits on top of the pad instead of absorbing into the pad, making me mess everywhere on myself.
I prefer Kotex overall because the always foam always falls apart and makes me itchy but I do get the always “panties” for all night but they’re the same as the ones for incontinence at a higher price
I haven’t started my period yet so I don’t know my flow I’m scared that I’ll leak at school and my pad that I usually have on is really uncomfortable idk what to do :(
I can tell you right now, none of these are big enough. I need something that is going to hold a gallon of blood. None of these are big enough for me to hold. unless I wake up every 15 minutes to change

U by Kotex Allnighter Extra Heavy Overnight with wings is my favorite, it shows 80% on the box.
I did a top 15, top 10, and top 5 favorites. I featured that pad in most of them.
Carefree is cheeper where I come from but the carefree irritates my skin but I love the stay-free ultra thin I have been wearing that since I started.
Kotex pads works best for me everytime !!!!!!

A gallon of blood? We only have 1.2-1.5 gallons in our bodies. 👀 Maybe try always discreet underwear. They hold the most liquid.
