I find it really interesting how you can see that Whitty is struggling to go fully ballistic. His head isn't explosive red, but his poses are loose, violent, berserk. I assume that Matt has already been exhausted from the start, presumably from the weaker corrupted slowly sapping away at his strength before someone more tanky like Whitty came to finish him off. I bet that Whitty will break free from the corruption to a further extent, but a then corrupted Matt will turn on him immediately, and Whitty is too exhausted to fight back to a better extent.

As we see from the previous round, Corrupted Whitty has no losing symbol, while Matt does. Speaking of Matt, he’s able to remove the corruption relatively easily, but that’s not why he’s struggling, because i bet he’s trying to save both himself AND Whitty now instead of fighting for his own life like most. He can most likely kill Whitty, but he wants to free him, and in the end, seemingly succeeded, but with the cost of most of his energy being used up. Let’s hope his efforts weren’t for nothing.
Huh, this has got me wondering now, since Whitty is partially uncorrupted, maybe theres a chance of an at least somewhat good ending. Matt doesn't exactly seem like the best at stopping thee corruption from spreading on him, I mean, Whitty is really powerful so ig it kinda makes sense. I'm super excited to see what comes next, though! About the video though, this song is actual peak! The voices are amazingly done, I love how Matt's voice is made so well. Sprites are beautiful as always too.
