How digital marketing career can get you ANYTHING you want

- 3 years ago, I was sold the idea of “financial freedom”
I was doing okay financially. To put it in perspective, I would rarely look at price tags before buying anything
When I shared the newly acquired interest with friends,
- They would laugh at me
- Some would even be shocked to know that I too was falling into this trap/scam of “financial freedom”
I soon realized that most of the content I was consuming was leading me down a rabbit hole of buying courses and memberships.
However, the concept in itself was not wrong. The idea was fundamentally correct and thus a lot of snake oil salesmen joined the trend
My first step was to start trading stocks and commodities, and within 6 months I lost a lot of money. But I learned a very important lesson:
- If you can’t read the balance sheet of a company, know why you are investing in a company, and what is the goal of the trade,
IT IS JUST A GAMBLE
Then I slowly started using my Digital Marketing skills to create my own online business. Created courses, content, and digital products
I used my skills to grow that business. It took me two years to reach my version of financial freedom
It gave me a very important perspective about Digital Marketing:
- Learning Digital Marketing to just have a job is underutilizing this craft.

problem is the job market especially in a place like Dubai is terrible. Employers require 3-5 years of experience for a 3k - 4k salary, not to mention that you MUST have UAE experience which you can't get because no one will hire you unless you have UAE experience. it's the same thing with agencies, they wont even consider you because you don't have agency experience, unless you're a fresh graduate, but if you're in your mid to late 20's, its pretty much over. You have to rely on freelance work and networking to try and get yourself a decent position. It's bleak out here.

Thanks for this video, |on the other hand, as I see right now, it is nearly impossible to be able to implement an end-to-end marketing strategy, keeping in mind:
social ads (Meta, snap, tiktok, x .. etc)
social content that aims to go viral
programmatic ads
search ads
google display and video ads
email marketing
marketing automation and CRM
analytics and reporting on weekly, monthly basis
creative development and messaging alignment on all platforms
GA4, GTM, data studio, Pixels .. etc
and the list might go on and on for marketing operations.
what do you think about that ? how much can one person hold ?
Ofcourse no one can know all of that. However, you should know how to stitch all of these pieces together to have a ad tech stack based on client. You have to be that person who can recommend the setup and know the nuances of how to get it implemented. The you define media strategy and make that work based on this. You always have people who know these things in bits say analytics, media buyers, etc who know hands on while you have an overview. But this is a good question
My end goal is same to learn digitalmarketing but right now i am the place where btech cse passout no jobs getting pressure from parents every day i get call . because i want to do business things from learning digital marketing . But right now no enough clients i am getting not able to sustain my expenses as well. But confused now. What to do . Spend a lot of money on ads but no converted a single conversion that build my confidence . What you will say about . I would love to listen your thoughts .
