I can't pin down your taste, some books I think for sure you would love, sometimes you don't, but I love how you're always honest! ❤ Love how many different opinions different books bring 📖
Tower of dawn was one of my favorite books. And I know that not everyone thinks the way I do but he was important to the main character in the beginning so I was so happy that he got his own book.
Hi Rachel 👋 I'm reading Divine Rivals and I agree the writing is great and I am enjoying it although I'm not that far into it yet mainly because Curious Tides has been sucking up all my reading time highly recommend it if you haven't read it already 🦋
Hey Rachel, I want to read the Throne of Glass series this year but idk whether to read Assassin’s Blade or Throne of Glass first 😬 what do you recommend?
I loved Holiday Romance, too. I also loved The Seven Year Slip. Sorry you didn't! I just finished listening to Divine Rivals yesterday and really liked it, too! 🦋
Yay! New Rachel video! 🎉🦋🦋 *mild Tower of Dawn spoilers* My best book of Dec was Tower of Dawn 😅 I know I'm in the minority but I loved it, I really needed an Aelin break at the time. Also, Chaol won me over by risking his life TWICE to save Fleetfoot!
“Perfectly-whelmed” 😂 I read Holiday Romance because of you, and perfectly-whelmed is exactly how I felt from it. Love that! I’m actually trying to post regularly and give this a go again. Holiday Romance was in my wrap up too. House of Sky and Breath was my favorite of last month 🦋
I didn’t have any 5 ⭐️ reads in December 😢. My two favorites I read were Caraval and Flock. Flock took me forever to get into and I almost DNFd multiple times, but now that I’ve finished I ended up buying the entire series (even though it’s on KU) 😂. I just also have to say. I absolutely loved Iron Flame. I agree Violet was a tad bit annoying, but it didn’t take away from the story for me. I’m wondering if I read the same book as those who said it was boring because I was captivated from the second I started 😂. I guess I wasn’t surprised that they went back to school - what else are they going to do, while they try to figure out exactly what to do next? It’s like in Harry Potter where insane things happened at the end of every book and then the next year, they always went right back (except the last one) 😂
We have the same rating of iron flame. I was so disappointed, it was my most anticipated read. It was a complete mess... I hated to pick it up every time
Oh mannnnnn I DNF’d Ruthless Vows. Roman and Iris are kept apart through very artificial means so there’s no romance. I’m innnnnnterested in your thoughts on it because I will never know what happens after the 2/3 mark.
I actually hated Violet in IF. "How dare you not tell me your secrets!" Tells like 5 people all of his secrets. "You never include me in your plans!" Doesn't include him in her plans. "Violet you're the strongest to ever exist ever!" CONSTANTLY in peril. Honestly I say let's kill off Violet and make Rhi the MC.
I can’t wait to read Love Redesigned! I love Lauren Asher’s storytelling. My heart broke a little when I heard your thoughts about The Fine Print because that’s my absolute fave 😭 but i get it lmao
lol I. Doing a tandem read of this and EOS. I am loving TOD vs EOS.
Great reading wrap up, Rachel! Im so nervous to read Iron Flame now 😅
Funny how our ratings for iron flame and love redesigned were flipped lol I loved iron flame and didn’t like love redesigned, books are so subjective!
Finally, someone else who thinks iron flame just wasn’t it 👏🏻
American Kingpin had me gripped like no other. It’s outside of your normal genres but soooo good
The Dead Romantics by Ashley Posten was probably my favorite read of December. 🦋
I'm currently reading Divine Rivals and I am obsessed.
A new video of you makes my day a whole lot better 🤌🏼
thank you so much!

I love seeing that you loved “love redesigned” cause I wanna read it this year!
Fire Endless by Rebecca Ross was my favorite of December as well as the year.
Tower of dawn was one of my favorite books. And I know that not everyone thinks the way I do but he was important to the main character in the beginning so I was so happy that he got his own book.

My favourite read of December was Time's Convert, book 4 in the All Souls series 🙂

so glad you liked HOSAB ☺️
🦋 my favorite book was Ruthless Vows, it wasn’t a five stars though 🫣 looking forward to hearing your thoughts about it

I liked a kingdom This cursed and empty better than book one I completely agree with you about Tower of dawn
🔥 Iron Flame was a GENEROUS 2 Star ⭐️ ⭐️ DUD. Will I read the 3rd? Probably, Yea 🥲

ahhh yes i’ve heard some mixed things about it, I hope i like it 🤞🏼
i had the same experience where I had a lot of fun reading fourth wing but hated iron flame, it was one of my worst books of the year
Have you come off Goodreads? X
I feel the same for Iron flame. Violet and Xaden always fighting then having sex then fighting was just so annoying.
"perfectly whelmed" hahaha
i love the cover for love redesigned!!
me nodding in agreement about your review for iron flame even though i enjoyed it hahaha
i'm so excited to read ruthless vows next month!! 🦋
I actually hated Violet in IF. "How dare you not tell me your secrets!" Tells like 5 people all of his secrets. "You never include me in your plans!" Doesn't include him in her plans. "Violet you're the strongest to ever exist ever!" CONSTANTLY in peril.

I wish we got more Rhi in iron flame! she felt under utilized
