No special docks or hubs. 1 Screen HDMI, 2 screens using USB C to HDMI Adapter (Anker $12 Amazon Dongle), and if you want a square 4 screen set-up (2x2), run 4th display to apple tv and broadcast Mini to apple tv. Now you have 4 display in a 2x2 square set-up. This is how i ran 4 displays with M2Pro and now same with M4Pro. No lag on apple tv broadcast. Loophole workaround for 4 screens

Do you have any recommendations on a cheaper display screen that is still good quality? I know that the one you recommended is pretty affordable already but if I go for two may need to split the budget a bit.
Great video, quick and clean. I'm not a gamer, but I found it interesting that MAC OS is unable to run gaming across all three monitors. Quick question, what desk and desk stand is that? AND what speakers? Again, great video.
I tried connecting 2 monitors side by side one directly through the HDMI port via hdmi to hdmi cable and other through the thunderbolt port via usb c to usb c cable as this monitor has a usb c input option. The issue that I faced was that the dock didn’t move from one monitor to the other when moving the mouse at the bottom of the screen. Do you face this issue as well? I have the setting “Each display has separate space” turned on.
I have the same keyboard and mouse. Have you worked out how to get the function key on the keyboard to work with Apples new “move and resize” feature as a hotkey/shortcut? My function keys will operate volume, brightness etc, and F1,F2 etc but not the move and resize “control, function, left arrow” shortcut.
Were you able to connect the triple monitor? I'm looking to buy one right now but i have 3 monitors with only HDMI/Display ports, no USB-C or Thunderbolt.
i'm confused... so, i'll be running one HDMI monitor (HD 1680x1050 HDMI) via the single HDMI port on the back of the Mac Mini M4 Pro, BUT i need to run TWO MORE monitors (HD 1680x1050 DVI using hdmi to DVI cables)). Are you saying i HAVE TO use TWO thunderbolt ports to use these 2 additional monitors? Can i get a USB C 10Gbps doc that has TWO HDMI ports in it, plug that dock into ONE of the thunderbolt ports, and run those two additional (HD 1680x1050 hdmi to dvi cabled) monitors ?? I'm starting to regret going from a 2012 Mac Pro to a Mac Mini M4 Pro now.
This is fascinating! I'm particularly interested in testing one against my rather unique setup. I currently use a 49-inch monitor running at 5K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate horizontally, alongside a standard Vertical 1200 x 1920 monitor at 60Hz. I use the smaller display for email and reading, whilst the larger one handles web browsing and social networking. I'm quite keen to confirm whether the Mac Mini supports this Specific dual-monitor configuration with one monitor Vertical and one Horizontal?
I don't understand why you think that the 27" Quad HD Monitors are better for your eyes than 32" 4K Monitors. You have a higher PPI at the 32" with 137.7 PPI compared to 108.8 PPI with the 27" QHD. Maybe I got something wrong. Could you please explain it to me? Thanks in advance.

I wonder if I can do this with my 1st generation Apple TV?
can we run TWO monitors off ONE thunderbolt port?
how did you run the 4th display to apple TV?

You are saying, "we can do this , we can do that. See, I am doing this." But you don't tell how to configure or explain more. Nice talking.
He did show (very quickly) the 3 monitors connection set up, with a diagram.

Mac Mini M4 PRO -> does it support 2 Displays 4K@240hz 32" (LG 32GS95UE-B) ?

I love the desk you have. Do you mind sharing the details?
Wait how was the speakers hooked up???
How wide is your desk?
Can you show how you did the span for the video? I have the same setup, regular M4 mac mini.

Can i use 4 2k monitors ?
The m4 pro chip can support up to 240hz individually on all three displays

Is it possible to do 4 monitors on mac mini?
I can add i pad also right ? With apple universal control
I would think so, I can do it on my 2020 Mac Mini 1, along with the mirroring function as well. @MWTechnology ?
The sound speakers. What brand are they?
why would you ask the brand without asking how they sound or what their specs are first?

yes
hey bro can i connect 8 monitor 1080p with m4 mac mini?
what is the desk you have in this video @0:22?
What if I got 3 monitors, 2 1080p 75Hz and 1 1440p 165Hz?
Does anyone know if im able to use the m4 mac mini with x2 4k @ 144hz and x1 1440p @ 240hz (or 144hz)?
I think the M4 mini does 2 monitors? The M4 Pro does 3 monitors.
Why haven’t I seen your page in literal years???
Thats what I'm saying.. I love this content
You seem to be wasting a port, you can put 2 4k monitors on the dock, one on hdmi. Im doing that on tb4 with m2 pro
Thanks man, excellent guide 👍🏻
having adapters creates latency. it's a terrible idea to run external monitors through adapters. they really should be hooked directly to the GPU
Good work bro

Mac OS works best on monitors with 109 PPI (non-Retina) or 218 PPI (Retina).
