As well as those mentioned, I’m also most interested to see (by UK release dates): Ponniyin Selvan 1 (Indian Tamil epic by my favourite director Mani Ratnam), Flux Gourmet (A Peter Strickland film) and Inu-Oh (anime).

You can try watching 'Vikram' from Indian Film Industry, balls to the wall kinds action movie with great music, miles ahead and better than brahmastra :).

That film is so good! I'm convinced that David Fincher was inspired by Memories of Murder when he made Zodiac, they are quite similar

It would be wise not to consider Bollywood movies as an Indian representation. It's best to avoid them, as there is a national(India) level contempt against films made in Bollywood. If you observe news, Bollywood movies are being boycotted in India. It stems from many diverse incidents including bollywood stars proud heritage from Turkey(which is not a friendly country), excluding pro-national film Kashmir files from FilmFare awards event, insulting Hindu gods(in movies like PK) and Bollywood's apathy on the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. You may use movies from any other Indian Industry (Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Bengali)which are less controversial.
