Today I went to a hair salon like The Secret Garden near Gangwha Island in Korea and got a haircut. The unintentional ASMR sound was so good that I was able to get a deep sleep.
In particular, going through the forest and passing through a quiet Hanok village to get to this place was so healing!
I was able to feel the director's warm heart as we shared freshly steamed sweet potatoes and rice cakes that morning.
Rather than going to a beauty salon, I felt like I had gone to a place of peace for my mind.

As for the coloring and rolling and steaming: as a guy I wasn’t quite aware of the lengths women go to for beauty. It seems quite unnecessary.
