Last night at Heroes Pride Edition at Manray Nightclub in Cambridge, MA. Resident DJ Chris Ewen dropped this in his set. (2nd song of the night altogether). I immediately started dancing and never stopped.
I've just came across this fantastic artist. I love his musical universe. He's got something of David Bowie in his crooner-like singing period. And what an awesome baseline! Sounds like that of Serge Gainsbourg's or The Cure's.
Yes! Someone else nailed exactly what I was thinking, in that the bass lines in Jonathan's songs are reminiscent of those heard in Serge's work, or various 60s French productions. 🙌
I like the anticipation build up to the end of the relationship really upbeat like how long some relationships just drag on and on and you are really looking forward to the depressing moment when it's over and you can get on with your life. Great song!
