I don't think that there's any unlimited use of GPT anywhere, the cost of running the servers is too high. Your best bet is to run ollama or something else on your local machine.
I think at this point pretty much anything newly released for Mac will require Silicon. With that said - no idea why such a simple app (that does 99% of it's work on a server) cares about the CPU that much, unless it has some logic on the machine itself...
macOS & iOS always get apps first; developers just focus on Apple first because people actually buy apps unlike Windows & Android users who want everything for free
@@hml yeah. It's on 4o as far as the LLM version but it isn't the version that Open AI displayed in their presentation a couple weeks ago. It doesn't have the live camera view yet and updated voice capabilities like being able to interrupt in the middle of conversation and just being all around more immersive. I believe they said that they'd start releasing that update sometime in the next week or so. I'm a beta tester too. I religiously check for the update 😂
@@hml nahh bro all good. I have access now. I could download it when i clicked on the top right on my Account, there was then a Button shwon with "Download the MacOS app"
Damn thank you sooo much dude. The inta close thing worked!!
Awesome! Glad it worked for you!
Thanks for the great content.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you saying this.
Use control Q to be fast enough
Yeah, that's why I mentioned the shortcut, it's impossible to do it without the keyboard.
Hi, Is it GPT4 free unlimited or GPT4o free unlimited or GPT3.5 or same as the android app

Nothing is free in this world my friend. I am currently paying $20 usd for GPT4o monthly if you want more features & priority
too bad it requires Apple Silicon

Show a workaround so it pushes the update to the phone app. There's gotta be a Konami code unlock or something.
heh, a Konami code for pushing a desktop app to the phone? :-)
@@hml nah. There's an updated omni version of the phone app that hasn't been released to the public yet.
@@bubberz ah, I just checked, and my ChatGPT for phone version is already on 4o, didn't even notice that. I'm on Android 15 Beta right now.

"this app can't run in this version of the OS" (Sonoma) 😡
Wait, what? I'm also on Sonoma. Apple Silicon or Intel? I'm on version 14.4.1
@@hml Intel :(
Ah, yeah, only Apple Silicon... I think they might be using the NPU...
