West Coast Swing Dance, Partner Communication, July 22, 2024

We continued our dance journey with Madeline and Clark, developing the ever important partner communication. Applying their layering style of teaching, they continued to expand on former classes. This class advanced further into connection and partner communication, while strengthening awareness of the elastic nature of the dance. We were reminded that WCS is essentially an improvised dance.The constants that exist are the tension-release rubber band effect, and the anchor step at the end of each series of moves. What fun!
