Hopefern straight up becoming a murderer was insane. I guess she’s taking after her uncle and grandma……
in all honesty, I do hope the she and Snipcloud get some sort of redemptions, but at this point, I think the only way to keep her out of the dark forest permanently is for her to either sacrifice herself saving the entire clan somehow, or pull a Stoneleaf and redeem herself after she dies, maybe with Lizardsnap or Magpieegg’s help if we really want to lean into history repeating itself.
I’m shocked that Hopefern was the first BrightFern kit to become a murderer, i honestly expected Snipcloud. Although I personally believe he definitely did something off screen.
In all honesty, her name is kind of ironic now. She was named after hope, the hope of GalaxyClan that the cycle of violence would not repeat with Palekit, the hope that lead to her father Brightstar becoming leader. Now, that hope is lost, as she has continued the cycle of rash actions and emotions leading to murder (and if we really stretch, it vaguely influenced the start of a war, since she was definitely a bad influence on Pansybloom) she reminds me of early Stoneleaf to an uncomfortable degree.
She was also named after her mother, Fernheart, one of the sweetest and kindest cats in the entire clan. A name that, at first, was an honor and a blessing, showing how much Brightstar loved his mate, and now probably seems like a curse to them both. A constant painful reminder of what could have been, that both mother and daughter must now suffer through.
She could have died as a kit, but she was saved by her older brother, who sacrificed himself, burning to death, to get her to safety. She could have been left permanently stuck with twolegs, but she came back to her clan, permanently injured. She could have fallen off a cliff, but she was saved by someone who hated her, and who she hated. She had every opportunity to not let the cycle continue, but she did anyways. And now, she can’t even be truly alone, she’s being kept under lock and key by the very people who she hurt, out of an obligate sense of duty and empathy.
I am reading way to far into this, but Hopefern’s life played out like a Greek tragedy I swear.
Technically, Snipcloud was the first one to kill someone, he killed Mintsplash’s spirit last year.
I really liked Hopefern and I was sad that she went down this path. Like you said, she was given so many chances. She could’ve died in the fire but her brother saved her. She could’ve been stuck with twolegs forever, but she somehow came back. She could have fallen off the cliff and died, but a cat who hates her saved her. (even though maybe he shouldn’t have saved her for Lightningflights sake). Instead of repaying Branchdeer for saving her life when he could’ve easily gotten away with leaving her to die after the way she treated him, she kills Lightningflight because she’s jealous. I know it’s just a game…. But lightningflight and Hopefern were two cats that I really liked, and it sucks that Lightningflight’s dead and Hopefern’s turned evil all because of her jealousy.
@@silverfrost1578 True, but he was already dead, and you could kinda say it was self defense since Mint just killed his dad. Hopefern was the first BrightFern kit to commit actual unprovoked murder (although seeing how Snipclouds doing, he probably will too at some point)
Oh Cinderpetal - it was beautiful. I'm so happy he got the chance to see GalaxyClan settle into their new home. Fitting for that final Clan Founder to pass away after that. I'm happy he is in StarClan with his family, even though my heart breaks to see him go. He lived for so long. Best boy

dude... i shocked MYSELF by full on Crying at the cinderpetal death scene. it just kind of hit how big this community has gotten and how long this project has been going on. from the perspective of both, "wow, this is such a wonderful example of human collaboration and creativity... i love art" AND "this character means more to me than I realized," this was such a good send-off.

YEAR 15 GIVE IT UP FOR YEAR 15
Several things - I was utterly DEVASTATED to hear that Wispbreeze and Lightningflight had died, and in such awful ways too. Cinderpetal’s death was super bittersweet at least, and I’m happy he went that way.
Despite the war and murder and suspicion, this actually feels like a relatively chill year?? It’s nice to see Cloudjay and Flamebear smiling, Stagchaser and Flaxroar returning, and the beetle/stone/lizard polycule being cute as always
I love that you made the cat named Silvally look like an actual Silvally she’s so adorable
And lastly. . . oh Hopefern, I was rooting for you to change, we were ALL rooting for you. At least her punishment seems to have snapped her out of it, but it’s way too late now
Yeah despite the very obvious bad things the clan actually seems to be doing their best, like I said while impactful ones there was only 5 deaths! Also I had a lot of fun making Silvally resemble the Pokemon lol
Oh boy this year was a big one.
I’m getting really suspicious of Ragged and possibly Hillfuzz at this point. The way Ragged was seen conversing with a ViperClan cat right before the war started could have been him trying to stop the war, but it seems more likely that he was giving his old clan tips on how to attack the weaker GalaxyClan who he would have spent the last several moons getting to know. Also the fact that both he and Hillfuzz cozied up to the most powerful cats in the clan seemed slightly suspect last year but with what’s happened this year it’s starting to seem straight up sinister, especially with Hillfuzz convincing the emotionally damaged Hollowstar to travel away while his sister was still lost. I just hope the whole Hillfuzz/ Hollowstar thing was more of a “I’m here to support you through this.” and less of a “You should forget about your missing sister and travel to the mountains with me.” dynamic.
And the Hopefern situation is just so sad. I was rooting for a Hopefern redemption arc, especially after Branchdeer saved her life even while she was berating him, but I guess she just can’t get over her jealousy. I do feel bad for her because of all the trauma she went through as a young cat but it’s no excuse for how she’s treated Branchdeer and Lightningflight. It would be nice to see her change her ways but I seriously doubt it at this point. Here’s to Lightningflight being happy in StarClan and Branchdeer moving on for a better life.
I get the suspicion for Ragged and Hillfuzz (Maybe Hillfuzz more than Ragged), but on the other hand, why would they go through all they trouble to bring this entire clan of cats to the mountains, just to destroy them from the inside? Unless there's some more history between Viperclan that's being hidden, I'm kinda on the fence about calling Ragged and Hillfuzz traitorous just yet
@@bobtheball5384 That’s a very good point, although we’ve seen some some actions to be suspicious of, we have little to go on in the way of motive. I’ll be interested to know how loyal they are when we eventually get to year 16, but for now there’s no definitive way to tell if they’re traitors or if they’re not

I can easily imagine the other clans being intimated by HollowStar due to the fact he has so many scars and can probably come of as hostile at first
It’s so sad but yet so wholesome to see CinderPetal’s reunion with his ancestors.
He lived long enough to see his Clan settle in their new home.
It’s still heartbreaking to me to see him pass, but he has gone through a lot, and he deserves a rest with his loved ones.

Anyone who has Light/dark blood or Lightning blood really needs to stay away from thunder paths. Pantherstorm and Raindapple for Light/Dark babies!!!! And then obviously Lightning.
As for Pansy, man she was so much fun in the beginning but the more she fails to mature the least bit the more I dislike her. I have a small theory that Bat was much like her in his younger days. As for code breaking, I was there for one of the streams and a male cat brought half clan kits back to camp, and I think they’re Pansy’s. Pansy probably had a fling/ one night stand with this cat. In an effort of self preservation knowing she’s on thin ice, she hid her pregnancy and gave her kits away. Maybe Hollow knows that and is giving her opportunities to be better because he can’t see past family having a kin bias?
Yarrow for deputy and future leader! Please give my girl an apprentice Hollowstar!
Also I’m sad for Lightning and her family. They’ve been through so much . Lightning deserved so much more and to grow with her family.
Honestly I don’t really view Thunder’s crush on Fern as canon either. Fern took advantage of his kindness and empathy by taking Fallow away from where she grew up and then she died.
Honestly I don’t see redemption for Hopefern at least not in GalaxyClan. This is cold but honestly Branchdeer should have let her fall to her death. I would not have faulted him as he was being verbally abused beforehand and may that would have been the straw that broke his back as a defense response. Hopefern is an abuser and narcissist. She has a lot of trauma but that is no excuse to take that out on others. I enjoy her as a very flawed character and the drama she has provided but god I love to hate her. Personally Hopefern for Dark Forest Resident 2024. I really want her to stay as a cat who can’t be redeemed being a cautionary tale for other cats.

I like her but I wish she cared more about others and how her actions affect others. She has the odd family silliness but she seems to be very apathetic which doesn’t pair well especially in a big clan/family setting. I wonder if things would have been different if her compassionate mother Lavenderheather was still around

!! I totaly hc Pansybloom having really bad anxiety and selective mutism or something like that.
she climbs compulsively and act silly cus it helps her cope and she has a really bad freeze response when she's stressed or scared, which is why she couldnt tell the viper clan cat that the dog was there, or help her apprentice!!
Shes also really ashamed of her little freeze thingy she does so she always runs and climbs a tree after and stays their for a while to :p

Idea for Pansybloom’s code violation:
She is told to take care of the kits one day, and she decides that as at treat, she will lead them into the forest. The kits almost eat something poisonous, but luckily, a healer on patrol find them and yells at Pansybloom.

Wow! Year 15! I’ve been here since year 2 when there were so little cats. One of those cats being Cinderpetal. What an adventure it’s been for not just him but the entire clan. I am glad the clan is doing well in their new home. These cats mean so much to me and so many others and seeing the last one to be here since the beginning go to Starclan hurt. I was holding back tears. In life, he was an absolute beast, doing everything he could to protect his clan, raising kits, being the best mentor he could be, chasing out danger, gaining scars to protect his loved ones, and in his elder years, making not just the journey back home, but also the emotional journey to another territory, and finally, the journey to Starclan, gaining a well deserved rest. We’ll miss you, Cinderpetal! We love you! (Also I’m definitely rooting for Hollowstar x Hillfuzz)

After Video: Well, Condor is Thriving and I love that for him but man poor Branch. At least he wasn't the one murdered but still it's sad to see him sad and poor Lightning as well, she didn't deserve that in the slightest. Fernheart deserves to retire.

GOD, Cinderpetal's death hit me hard. The scene with all of the clan founders around him as he died, welcoming him to Starclan made me shed a tear. I'll be glad to see where the next generation of Galaxyclan takes us, especially with the new territory!

And, possibly, maybe there could be the potential of a Gold x fuzzy ship? I mean, they were looking at eachother in a way in the speedpaint. I mean, anything is possible in GalaxyClan, right? When i heard you say "OrangePaw" my jaw literally DROPPED i now have two characters that i made a long time ago that share the name with Galaxy Clan cats XD both are deceased unfortunately, but i have SwanLeaf, female, she passed from old age and OrangePaw, male, who passed of a heart attack from his weak heart, he was the Medicine-Apprentice and he unfortunately passed at the sad age of 8 moons

I assumed so logically 4 teach make a lot of sence but most of snake teeth are very small and are more so for pushing food down and the 2 big fangs are the ones used to bite I know this because I have my own snake and I have gotten bit also I watch a lot of snake stuff snakes are my favorite animal @@NyokoArts

Man year 15!! I honestly cannot believe Galaxy Clan has been going on this long and im so happy for that! I always look foward to your videos Nyoko whether that be Danganrompa or Clan gen. Now that all of that is said im gonna rant about this video now.
OK. So Kale is so amazing I love him he kinda gives off hippie vibes with his mullet and I love that he has a little crush on thunder spirit after basically slapping him across the face. Anyway, CINDER PETAL NOOO MY OLD BOIIII im so happy he got to see the new home for Galaxy clan knowing his family was safe and he could rest peacefully, Now he finally gets to see his beloves Stone Leaf in star clan. Guppy kit is my new fav kit all the way because he's such a sweet boyo and he's so cute 🥺
