Certainly so, you break it down nicely, and it came out to less than $1000 a month, i can swing that, don't smoke nor drink, not party person, soo, that will be more than enough for a single person, Or a couple that's watch their pennies, not need for much in life, just do some adjustments to wants and need, and you can pull it out easily, regards from Boston MA!!
@@EvralTatum-Mcfield-ov2mi thank you for stopping by! There are many Mexican families living with less than that in a month as a family of 5 or more! The budget breakdown will look different for them for sure!
$50,000 in savings, for the Temporary Residency, and $150,000 in savings Or a pension of more than $3,500 a month, according to what i had read on the Mexican Foreign Affairs website 2 months ago, maybe it going to change with this new president, who knows, regards from Boston MA!!
@@EvralTatum-Mcfield-ov2mi this is a big financial requirement. I know there are ways around it as many people who move down here do not have that much cash sitting in the bank.
I’m glad this is titled ‘Live comfortably in “México” and not “Mérida”! As someone who has lived here in Mérida for two years, I can safely say that $1000 a month may not be sufficient here. Mérida has become increasingly expensive in the short time I’ve been here. You will probably not be living in a desirable dwelling and you will be limited in your leisure activities. Add healthcare costs due to illnesses and emergencies, which you have to pay out of pocket for. Most of your tourist cities - like Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, and Playa del Carmen - and places that have heavy expat/immigrant presence also tend to be much more expensive. Do your research.
@@aleejay2007 it's possible to live with $1000 in Mérida. Many of the locals don't make $1000/month as a dual income family, but they make do. I offered a breakdown on different expenses. But we all have diverse needs which might require a different budget.
Muy buena información muchas gracias 👍👍
Great video! Can you tell us why you left Canada? Maybe it can be a video topic? We Canadians would love to know! 🇨🇦

Hi Adeola, what happened with the Profeco saga.
@@altdelette the hearing with profeco is done. I'm still going through the legal proceedings.
But what are the financial requirements to move there first of all?
it will be advisable to have a stable source of income so you can cover all your expenses.

Not true. The key is to have a home outside of tourist areas and outside of the North. That's a good start.
@@Sweetpea2977 thats very true. thats why i created a tutorial on $350 rentals. these houses are not in high demand areas. so they're affordable.
@@Sweetpea2977 Yes indeed, people has to start to be living according to their income, not flossing anytime they want to impress the rest of us!!
