We already have this system going on for the majority of the American people for years... they do not have to construct any new system or another big organization. It is already there. Of course this cannot happen due to the vested and moneyed interests of the private providers and private institutions. In practical terms what they need to do is have a sort of a basic Medicare for all... and then have options to purchase higher and better services for those who want to... With the purchasing power that the Medicare already has (and will have if everyone has this), imagine the kinds of price negotiations that they can do (which is for some odd reasons--- translate that to MONEYED reasons) they cannot do that now. ALSO imagine if everyone had this the kinds of streamlining and efficiency that they can provide and thus reduce costs and with higher care... It can happen... but the lobby is so strong for the private / money and for profit institutions, that this may be hard... BUT if the American people know what can really be good for them if only they understand and voice their concern, then perhaps the legislatures will be emboldened to do this....

Every adjective you used is right on and being so young he's got so much time to gain experience, if he does have a presidential bid in his mind, he'll have a great chance to win it! Georgia will have to keep him electing him. They can't let the new voter suppression laws stop them from voting but after seeing what the people of Georgia in the south can accomplish - I'm proud of them and have faith they can do this!

You probably hadn't heard of him (neither had I until this debate last year) because he is the youngest person to be elected to the Senate since Joe Biden was at age 29. Ossoff is in his early 30s. In practical terms what they need to do is have a sort of a basic Medicare for all... and then have options to purchase higher and better services for those who want to... With the purchasing power that the Medicare already has (and will have if everyone has this), imagine the kinds of price negotiations that they can do (which is for some odd reasons--- translate that to MONEYED reasons) they cannot do that now. ALSO imagine if everyone had this the kinds of streamlining and efficiency that they can provide and thus reduce costs and with higher care... It can happen... but the lobby is so strong for the private / money and for profit institutions, that this may be hard... BUT if the American people know what can really be good for them if only they understand and voice their concern, then perhaps the legislatures will be emboldened to do this....

Trump was receiving care, such as a team of dedicated doctors/specialists and unlimited choices in experimental treatments, that goes beyond what is provided as a standard in any existing health system. One of the best debates or I would say roasts I have seen. Perdue looked like he wanted to jump of the stage lol.
All I heard from him throughout the debate was just 3 words repeated again and again “radical socialist agenda”. He kept repeating them like a parrot without answering the real questions!
