Ironically, I defeated Dracula just seconds before the Blood Moon :) Also, if you're a fan of magic, you can try a build with the legendary Reaper and 100% Scholar blood. It works very well here too!
Nice video! Can you please elaborate a bit more on how that magic build could work throughout the fight? Most part you're using defensive spells I wonder how can you use magic damage spells instead... I tried it and when it gets to second or last phase the defensive spells are a must have, and not using them feels like physical power with a magic set is not enough dps
@eddmercury thanks! If you go with magical build, you can use the shield from chaos school in addition to frost shield. If you get a good jewel, it will shoot projectiles to deal damage. Frost shield damage will also be bigger for scholar. And on the second phase you’ll get more damage as well from your AoE skills!
I'm trying with hybrid magical build. Using reaper with all magic ops (not get the orange one yet, just purple) + all magic armor. I find scholar blood are too slow and I can't dodge (not using any block spell) so I'm using 100% rogue blood. So far it has been working great until I get to the phase 3, the adds phase. My spell choice just can't deal enough damage and Reaper lack of reach 2 out of 3 attack are a big problem. I always end up starting phase 4 with Drac almost at full health. Will have to try switch blood type during fight (switch to scholar when reach p3) and use more AoE spell. (I use chaos bolt + void)
@@Alberos U can start with the rogue blood for movement speed, and then you can drink the scholar blood on the adds phase, and you'll get your magical damage boosted and more free spell casting. Just drink the scholar blood and open the spellbook to swap skills, and you'll have enough time for re-phasing. And after u drink the heart there's another type of blood entirely, and it's better than any other blood in the game, so you don't need to worry :)

It doesn't matter which blood you use at the beginning of the fight while you are in the last phase of it. Because when you drink the heart of Dracula in the adds phase, your blood is replaced by the Blood of the Immortal. Your dash will have only 2 seconds cooldown, and all your spells will have a 50% chance to zero cooldown. And also +100% of all types of damage done.
Nice guide, thank you, for our server we are on 3x dps multiplier and the shards are constantly occupied with no raid function, its hard to do that and its hard to stay alive when he almost insta kills you
I beat him after watching your video! But what your video taught me is I needed to stop listening to people! Lmao. It was such an unfamiliar build I struggled. Eventually I went back and just went full damage with scythe Chaos Volley / Void and trusted my movement. Beat him second time after doing that. Though I have to give credit to all the previous attempts that taught me his moves.
Yeah, that’s fine :) I’ve also watched a couple of scythe magic build videos back then but I was not familiar with such build and couldn’t reproduce it :) In general, the most important thing is to learn boss patterns, everything else doesn’t matter at all :)
@@AimingForGaming Honestly he was pretty forgiving minus the bullet hell phase. I don't know the mechanics as well as you but it seemed like blitzing damage made that phase shorter. Lots of opportunities to drop the scythe spin ability throughout the fight. Looking forward to Brutal, thanks for making content about this great game!
How are you not getting damaged by the crystal he places? I just die by those the moment I enter that area for 1 second, there's no way I could kill those before dying
Yeah, as I mentioned - you’ll have 3 pieces before the fight :) just use the chest you will then convert into shadow - shadowmoon :) it will not provide you with any set bonuses, just some crit chance and movement speed :)
That’s not a skin - it’s legendary weapons :) you can get them by defeating tier 2 incursion bosses or by purchasing purple weapons with greater Stygian shards in the new zone - they have 10% chance to become legendaries
Yeah, and dropped 3 or 4 from rift incursion bosses as well :) when there are few players around, you can solo the event and get 2-3k shards per run :)
Yeah it looks cool (I watched it :) ), but: 1) it’s a footage, not a guide, I think it’s hard to repeat for a new player 2) you use the gear, shard and ultimate that can be acquired after you defeat Dracula, so people can’t do the same when they want to beat Dracula for the first time :) Nevertheless, great job! :)

The crystal itself deals no damage - only the circle around it does :) I usually just jump through it :)
