The Digital Key uses NFC (Near Field Communication) and this must be enabled on your phone. Apple iOS devices are currently and unfortunately incompatible with Hyundai's implementation.
@@oldgoldtopgoldtop6039 hey there. I just bought SEL Sonata Hybrid 2023, I feel it's a great car. How's your Limited doing? Few years ago I hate Hyundai, but I love the most now. They have top notch features and driving dynamic is fun than any other luxurious cars! Got mine in around 33800 out the door. Hopefully it was a great bargain. Ty.
My car is constantly sending me text message that my doors are unlocked. I don't want to lock my doors while it's parked in a locked garage. I have to get off my butt and get the keys and go to the garage to lock the car and even then sometimes it will say the doors are unlocked. Howe can I stop it from asking me to lock the doors? The doors should automatically door when I leave the car.
My 2022 Tucson Hybrid Limited locks the doors when I start driving. I hate that “feature.” And when I get out of the driver’s seat, I close the door then need to get something from the back seat. The car locks the back door and I have to touch the front handle to open it. Then I can get in the back. *HORRIBLE IMPLEMENTATION* Anybody know how to get into “service mode?” There are several stupid things that need changing. ie, while driving, my passenger is not allowed to enter map destinations. Yeah, I know to use voice commands, but that’s even less reliable than Siri.
@@BitSmythe i have the SEL w/convenience so i don't know how different it is to the limited but using the instrument cluster menu go to driver assistance. there is a way to turn off automatic locks when you pull off.
@@BitSmythe would recommend sitting down in the car for a bit and going through all of the setting options in your center display. you can disable a lot of things you dont like and tweak others. almost everything is in there.
Impressive and useful!
Why no App for iPhones?

They work with BMWs now. Surely this can’t be that hard to add.
This is now working for iOS. Make sure to get the registration link from blue link then, enable the feature from the car.
How much does it cost?
Soooo not for an I phone?
I am waiting for Elantra in india Chennai
smart phone power could be gone. There should be a way to open manually. Does it have it?
The cars come with a fob and key.
Hyundai also provides an NFC chip card (like a hotel key card) that you can carry which will also unlock and start the car.
@@oldgoldtopgoldtop6039 Does Hyundai provide NFC chip card for free when you buy the car? Or do you have to buy it from Hyundai?
@@kwonh4008 It was included with my 2023 Sonata Limited.

If my keys are in my pocket, all I have to do is press the button on the door handle. Or use the app in my phone
What if you leave your phone in the car 😂

They make a digital key card that fits in your wallet that you can use as a backup if the phone dies.
There is a lock under the car, press it in the manual key
