I feel like I’m always being blinded by the new Escalades. They’re insanely bright, maybe it’s because I have a sedan.

no they need to lower the light, its seems like just a high beam on regular light

I feel like a complete Dick when I pull behind a sedan, especially at a drive thru. It’s like a giant spot light. I try to turn off the lights when I can, but at red lights I have to leave them on. The escalade low beam headlights are the strongest/best visibility we have ever had.

Yea it’s because you’re in a sedan and you’re lower to the ground next to or directly in front of one of these but if your mirrors are adjusted properly you still shouldn’t be blinded.

That power was great a few years ago. In fact a 2014 Silverado crew cab 4x4 pulled a 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. But these things have gotten bigger and heavier. They look massive driving around

This is a sexy beast inside & out. Although it can be adjusted, I don't care for overly excessive lighting. So as for me I like what Cadillac has done with the interior lighting. Nolan thank you for the time you put in for these reviews.

Great video . . I'm not much on the ambient lighting, but since it can be turned off ( or made dimmer ) it would be okay. I keep my gauge lighting in my current Envision way low - I was told years ago to do that, because if you have it shining brightly back into your eyes, it can cause your pupils to become opened LESS, which makes you not see as well.

If u want turn on all lights just press and hold the light for about 2-3 secs. It will turn all lights on

I agree about the ambient lighting needing something extra but the rest of this vehicle is excellent. Love the red exterior especially at night.

The ambient lighting in my opinion just needed to be a bit brighter and brought into the rear seats. With my tinted windows and lowering the brightness of the dash it helps them pop a bit more

Believe me or not i bought escalade in 2022 and 3 months later i sold it and bought again mercedes gls because of the weak interior lights and ambient lights, very weaks, escalade is the best for me but the interior is really dark at night and thats really not help specially when there is kids in the family

On dark rural routes my CT5 auto highbeams are nice and the LED lites - enough for the front of a locomotive.

my LED lights they cut off much closer, it's odd because you can't see anything past the cutoff line .

As someone who has been on the other end of those lights. This thing sucks. Seems like all of GM's worst ideas involve lights.

With that wife beam, the headlights don't need to have a cornering function. They are awesome for city and highway driving. Nearly as perfect as Skoda headlights

I've said it before...the technology on current vehicles is meant more for little people, weak people, disabled people, bad drivers, and the clueless.
A average good drive doesn't need 80/90% of this stuff.

Cadillac should have taken some lessons from mercedes when it comes to ambient lighting. Otherwise the escalade interior is immaculate.

I refuse to bring my 23 escalade ESV into the shop for the latest recall. The recall is to turn off the day time running lights at night. Ridiculous! Many cars maintain their day time running lights at night, including the last model Escalade. Turning off the day time running lights (the lower vertical lights on the sides of the bumper) completely changes the night time vibe.

IMPORTANT PSA! Does this have the idiotic AFM lifter system? If so, you'll have your top end taken apart by the dealer at around 10k miles. And they'll "fix" it with all of the same garbage that got you there in the first place. Look it up! And if you think I'm full of it, screen shot this comment before you by one!!
