I think that is the Wand that Ollivanders made him when the death eaters kidnapped him. I dont think we know how his wand looked like when he Was in Hogwarts

Sirius is one of my favorite characters ever. And his wand is also my fave one.
I’m really surprised you didn’t mention the trick Sirius carved in! There is a difference in the runes on one side of the square section/handle section. That is the only correct way to hold it - a person who grabbed it from him could not use it properly. As a person who is always on the defensive, he cleverly ensured his wand is truly only his own.

@@lazyhomebody1356 While visiting the Harry Potter store in NYC for the first time, a shop hand shared this trivia with me. I was showing my friend the wand because it’s always been my brothers favorite and I hadn’t held one in years since I moved away from home. The shop hand saw me holding it and came over to talk about Sirius and share this info! Seeing the difference in runes for myself really solidified my decision to collect it. The shop hand shared with me that they have to memorize a bunch of trivia like this, especially if it’s considered obscure, so they can wow even the most devoted Potter fans 😁

I love how unique James Potter's and Sirius Black's wand is. The Spider webs on James's wand is definitely Halloween-themed. The display board is so cool.
James wand is really similar to Cedrics I think
@@DapperDan-zx9fu There's a few wands with that shape and different carvings on the handle: Cedric, James, Luna's first wand and Padma Patil's wand (which was just a re-painted Cedric wand).
Kinda ironic since he died on Halloween

The display board is stunning! I would love to have that on my living room wall. Sirius' wand is my favorite of the bunch cause it's more my style but James' is a close second.

That was absolutely amazing for someone who have loved The 4 Marauders her whole life. Sadly that's as well something too expensive for me to ever get, but I enjoyed every second! Sirius' wand is my absolutely favorite as well.
I actually saw in another person's video when they were in Knockturn Alley buying a wand they saw Peter's wand and expressed how cool it was but how much they hate Peter, and the worker there actually said that the wand was the one gifted to Peter from Voldemort after Peter's broke. And the reason it's a snake is reminiscent of Nagini in that it instills fear in him. His animals is a rat and what do snakes eat?

Holy moly! Peter Petigrew's wand fits him so well. That is one neat looking wand but I have to say my favorite is Lupin's. Sirius Black's is a second.

I must say, Sirius' wand is exceptional, but I was also deeply intrigued by Peter Pettigrew's wand....The curvy shape of it gives a matching vibe to the snake slithering on it....

As far as I know, the original design for Peter petigrus wand features a curled up that tail at the very end of the wands handle. But I like the one they when with.

Sirius Black's wand is so detailed and is my favourite but Peter Pettigrew's is cool too even though I don't like snakes. I just think it suits him and again the detail is great. But the stand tops them all. So beautifully done! Would definitely have that in my collection.

I loved Sirius Black's wand from the very beginning! It's the very first wand that I got from Ollivander's. Love that Marauders Map display case as well and would definitely want to have one. Looking forward to the next wand showcase.

Honestly Sirius wand is just pure amazing thing.. although i have to admit Pettigrew wand is cool with the snake. (I still like Sirius wand more, though). Btw the order of the wand arrangement is just like the order of their deaths. James, followed by Sirius, then Pettigrew, then Lupin.
I think the order is just supposed to be the same as “moony, wormtail, pad foot, and prongs”. But interesting that they died in reverse order!

They say Remus's wand was crushed by him mid transformation at one time and that's why the handle looks like that.

I don’t know if you’ve ever been asked, but if Ravenclaw’s mascot has always been incorrect, why wouldn’t WB correct it going forward and stop making items with a raven? Thoughts?
Because most people are not very bright. It says "ravenclaw" so it should be a raven! I explain that eagles are nicknamed ravenclaws because they have black claws, unlike other birds of prey who have yellowish claws. Also of course, none of the mascots are directly from the founders' names. MOST people want the mascot to be a raven. Seeing an eagle confuses the poor things
Well i read the harry potter books in italian and in our transaltion it’s said that ranvenclaw’s mascot is a raven, not an eagle...
maybe that goes for various other translations as well, so.. maybe for the sake of not confusing foreign fans they went for a raven, which makes sense in the context anyway

Oh, one of my favourite arguments... A colleague said it is RAVENclaw. So it must be a raven... I said OK, if my name was Miller do I have to be a miller jobwise? Same with Fisher or Smith. Only because it is Ravenclaw, the mascot doesn't have to be a raven. It is really annoying that they took the raven and the wrong colours. Most people who read the books are in Ravenclaw because Ravenclaw in the movies are very underrated. Yes, you see Luna leading Harry to Ravenclaw Tower, but that is the only scene a Ravenclaw plays an important role. Until than you don't really notice Ravenclaw earlier in the movies. And Cho doesn't count! She is shown as a traitor in the movies. I understand why they took Cho instead of Marietta. But Ravenclaws are all so underrepresented. Golden Trio for Gryffindor, Draco for Slytherin and Newt and Cedric for Hufflepuff. And Ravenclaw is just the boring house without really important persons inside besides Luna.
@@brox8207 Cedric for Hufflepuff, yes, but LUNA is arguably the best character of all. Even in the books remember we never saw the Ravenckaw common room. I figured out a horcrux must be there because Harry never went there even when he was dating Cho. Changing the colors seems really unecessary. I assumed I was a Ravenclaw until I took the Pottermore test so I still feel your pain,lol

I love this series so much😍 Wands are my favourite Noble Collection items, it's so great that Alfonso Cuaron came up with the idea of personalised wands. I wish I could collect them, but sadly they don't ship to my country from the official store, and I'm afraid of buying them from Ebay because there are so many fake ones from Wish, etc. I hope some day they will be available in my location as well.
