Could you please do Andersen’s study no 24 op 15?
Amelie, I was transported by your beautiful playing. Thanks to both of you for your great channel, best wishes from Norway.
thanks lucas! it means the world!
I’m a returning flute player and I played this in college. I’m re-learning this piece and your video is helping so much.
So many wonderful quality videos on RUclips. Thank you The Flute Channel .
I want to play this! I just started flute but one day I will nail this piece
exciting! Welcome and happy practicing!
Sorry I missed most of the livestream, but it was fantastic playing & advice as always! Phew! Fauré does tend to like those accidentals doesn't he?
totally! cant get enough of them!
Amelie I hope you write a book on flute. You make everything very easy to understand . A lot of of info you always give that is the best I have heard . And helps me pick up so quickly. Will you or are you working on your own book of instruction?
Totally! Were working on a book with 15 beginner lessons with lots of tips and tricks! Plus more books for the holidays as well!
very nice
You're so amazing!!
Aww thanks Ryleigh! Thanks for watching!
I have to prepare this in 15 days 🥲
Hello!
Can you help me identify if this piece is polyphonic or homophonic?
My issues with timing come around measure 204 the two eighth rest are throwing me off when I've had just eighth rest starting at 194. It's driving me crazy. hahaha...and I noticed you had a small issue at this same place. The timing for coming in on the eight rest vs the two eighth rest is TRICKY.
Yup totally! But regular practice fixes that, instead of just sight-reading which was my case. What I like about the tomplay is that you can loop parts and really iron out any little issues. Really like meeting you Jon! Hope to see you in the comments again.
Very nice work, could I ask how many years of playing does it take to reach that level of flute mastery? (Assuming daily practicing)
it really depends on the type of daily practice and the person. it can take as little as a few years for special cases and normally a few more years after that to get to a level that is playing with ease, comfort and enjoyment.
