Thanks for your review! Based on this and several other reviews, I bought the Caudabe Sheath case for my iPhone 13 Mini. I love the fit and texture, and its magnet works great with the Apple MagSafe wireless puck charger.
@@ouwchy Yes, it does. I was a bit concerned as I had a smooth Spigen case on my previous phone. But the Caudabe is smooth into the front pocket of my jeans.
I've watched so many reviews on MagSafe cases but never saw one I liked until I found your video. Thanks for the overview. This is the one I'll be getting.
What an amazing review! I'm actually expecting this case to be delivered today and can't wait to use it. I'm currently using the official Apple silicone case and though I like it, it's just too much of a dust/fingerprint magnet. I also can't help thinking the Apple silicone case won't hold up well after some time. I've had mine for only a couple weeks and the oils from my fingers just seem to have become one with the material. Haha! So yeah, very much looking forward to the Caudabe sheath. Opted for the new mesa blue to match my blue Apple Watch.
@@bubbachunky9 Hey Bubba! It’s a really cool case. It feels like a premium case and feels great in hand. To be honest I’ve since switched to a custom leather case by Casetify but the switch had nothing to do with the case itself. You cannot go wrong with the Sheath.
@@genefactor007 appreciate that I’ve always liked the silicone , but they break down and need replaced often and that sucks. But like the oem silicone feel. Didn’t want to hate the texture
@@bubbachunky9 I loved the texture of the Sheath. Before purchasing the Sheath I was using the Apple branded case. The soft silicone feel was nice but it was such an oil magnet. It looked horrible after a few weeks. The Sheath is a harder material and that texture is AMAZING. Not only was it ‘grippy’ but it didn’t hold oils that makes other silicone cases look bad after some use.
Amazing review. I got a question how are the edges are they smooth? Does it not feel boxy and protruding? That’s what I don’t like about my current case, the edges aren’t sharp but they aren’t really smooth in hand.
The case has a good grip. Feels good and doesn’t feel boxy in my opinion. Has a nice texture. It’s seriously one of my favorite cases and a constant go to of mine.

@@mannysanchez11 Very great case. Definitely worth checking out if you are considering the Caudabe Sheath. This one I would highly recommend. If you are wondering about the downsize from iPhone 12 Pro Max to an iPhone 13 Pro, I couldn’t be happier. For me it came down to form factor and size. Does it completely cover the rim of the stainless frame unlike Apple’s cases which leaves a tiny part exposed around the front? Is this compatible with the Shellrus screen protector? The interior back is made of hard plastic with no lining of any kind? - won’t this scratch up the phone eventually?
I’ve never had any issues with it scratching my phones in the past. And yes, it completely covers the stainless steel frame. I show it up close in the video.
@@RoyFlorez thank you for replying. I’m a big OnePlus fan, I recently switched back to iOS (for specific reasons haha) and I’ve been in search of a case with a similar feel to the sandstone. According to the website it's called ShockLite. It's a soft, gel-like, flexible polymer. It has a micro etched texture. So basically TPU on steroids it sounds like, lol.
You mentioned the texture on the back. But how resistant is it to sliding off a table, for example, when laid back down? I’ve been trying the Smartish Gripmunk, but that slides like a puck on an air hockey table.
@@jordanbandura9294 but does it resist sliding around as well? Many cases now have MagSafe, and drop protection but have zero info on protecting it from getting knocked onto the floor when it is sitting on a restaurant table. Does this one grip to a horizontal surface to prevent that?
That’s interesting that you say that because I’m using the case as I’m typing this and I feel like it’s got a really good grip to it. The texturized back feels pretty good in the hand. I do agree that maybe there’s some random times where it does maybe fill not as grippy but it’s usually with my hands are dry.
