I tell how he did,and it's very simple, best of 5,better mental game,it's not very hard to get in the Rublev's head,if you put him out of his confort zone that it's behind the baseline he start making mistakes, and when do he gets mad which leads to more mistakes and that's it,it seems that he improve his net play in Shanghai.

Novak plays a chess game on the court, he uses his head more than any other player on the tour, knows how to easily adapt his game to each player and change it if necessary in order to gain points and lose as little energy as possible. He will never waste energy unnecessarily, he only plays at the level needed to beat the current opponent. That's why some say that sometimes his game is boring, but in fact it's not boring, it's just smart at the given moment.

Making it deep in successive tournaments to claim titles is another story as we saw in Beijing & Shanghai.

The Ploish fella is in some "ZONE" I have never seen him before. Rublev is the same;;and he has God obviously on his side, but from the other side I am not sure;;but Hubi is doing very well on his own or help form angels, or who knows whom and why; but he is doing incredibly. Looking FW to the Final!

Sure. Because God’s biggest priority right now is who wins the Shanghai Masters… And wouldn’t that be cheating? I mean, if someone spent their whole life working hard to be one of the best tennis players in the world, then they get to a big final, only to discover that God (or some angels) was helping out their opponent, I think they’d feel pretty pissed about that. Performance Enhancing Gods should definitely be kicked out of sports!

Go Rublev babes I hope you win it all. With Rublev you got the aggressive shotmaker vs the counter puncher Hurkacz. Hurkacz is too passive for my liking, he didn't deserve to win against Marozsan he was just all defense in that match so hopefully proactive tennis will win the day and Rublev will score his second 1000 title

I’m shocked, level of tennis played by Hubi and Korda was so LOW!

It is not surprising Djokovic gobbled many grand slams since 2020.Federer retiring,Nadal injuries,Wawrinka not in his prime,Murray after hip operation going down wards. He only have to play with mostly the weak players since 2020 .what a G.O.A.T😂😂😂

Federer had no competition from 2003 to 2008....only Nadal gave him tough competition on clay....that was weak era...
