Zurbrugg is so underrated because he never went to camps or even 7v7. He ran track (100m hurdles or 110m) so he did his track stuff during football camps.
The ou fan base gonna hold the flame to AR feet. But AR left the door open for Hawkins to fly in new season new O Cs OU will only put the best Qb on the field who can move the ball wit the first team. Once my nephew get a shot to run first team. ITS OVER

Hell, I remember watching the Orange bowl '68 OU-TN. These games more than ever are exhibition only. More practice time they say. But I'm with ya, I got rid of my satellite provider &TV years ago. 100% of what I know about CFB / Sooners comes from my android phone. I can listen to any game on college football radio.
Although Im excited having such a TALENTED qb room headed to Norman, Im just as afraid of potentially losing one of the 2 qbs. In today's climate, these talented qbs want to get on the field and not have to wait (not to mention the tampering), makes me nervous.
Oh we will but that’s why you retool and recruit players that want to be in a competitive room. All our guys here to compete and if we set them up for success with only 2 years of playing time, they’ll stick around
5 star s at QB. 6-6 in 2024 and back on the hot seat. With bad OL and inconsistent QB play you need a good portal QB. You need at least 3 legit QBs I'm a legit competition. Garrett Gilbert was a 5 star Nat Gatorade guy and how'd he do. Competition produces great play. You cannot just give a guy the job and win.

I know he's in the '25 class, but I have the long view. The long, long, really long view. What about Kevin Sperry? From what I've read, he's as good as Arnold. Imagine, the Sooners being the only program to have back-to-back Heisman winning QBs not just one, but two times. The "Bamas, Buckeyes, Trojans, etc. would be absolutely apoplectic in denying their unbridled jealousy.
@@UNFAIRSPORTSI don't know for some reason I just don't have much confidence in them especially the recruiting we went from one of the best offensive coordinators in the country to these two hopefully they prove me wrong if they do I will be the first to admit it I would be a lot more comfortable with Lebby but I don't really blame the man for a leaving I'm sure he got tired of being criticized for something he had no control over it wasn't his fault the defense and the special teams sucked but I do admit some of his play-calling was questionable but I would prefer having him running the offense

Starting an WR at RB, having the same scripted plays to start off half our games last year, throwing downfield less than 5 times in the KU game, etc boneheaded OC moves
@@a.washington5162 I agree he screwed up numerous times but he didn't screw up near as many times as the defense or the special teams but we all know why everybody was hating on him it was all because of art briles nobody was hating on him until art briles showed up at a game then we had some of these fake news channels saying that art briles was on the sidelines during the game which was untrue then all of the sooner fans started hating on him after that he has the number two scoring offense in the country but of course he got the blame for all of Oklahoma struggles they blamed him because the defense sucked and they blamed him because special teams sucked it seems like Oklahoma fans were afraid to criticize Brent venables so they put all of the blame on him
