Improv for Violinists - Episode 3 - Pentatonic Shapes

- In this episode, we'll show you two SHAPES for playing pentatonic scales. This will save you the trouble of having to learn a bunch of different fingerings for a bunch of different scales.
You won't even have to remember what notes are in an Eb major pentatonic scale. You'll just know what shapes to play.
This will make improv MUCH, MUCH easier! Кино
I’m loving this series.
good attitude!
Hey Matt, your Electric Violin Shop videos have inspired me to buy two Gewa Novitas and a Yamaha YEV. I just ordered a seven string Viper and I have two years to prepare for it. I just came across your RUclips channel and I’m ready to do some learning. Thanks for all you do!
thank you matt
Thank you so much for this! I got a few violin lessons years back, but I stopped playing because I felt like I just wasn't getting it. The idea of shapes will definitely make things easier. I just need to learn a few shapes and baam I can play in all 12 keys😎😎
