    Wonderful , your explanation are clear & simple to understand , good job , I think this bluegrass series will be very fun & useful , I remember awhile back , when you playing songs from the fiddlers Fakebook, that was so fun , thank for all you're doing , you really are a born teacher , thanks , moe

    I use the 12357 pentatonic scale. For minor flatten the 3 and 7, which gives a different selection of notes from the relative major. The minor mode sounds standard but the major mode melodies and harmonies sound like beautiful and whimsical seventh and ninth chords.

    And I thought the Carl Flesch scales were the pinnacle for string players.
